Xbox One Game Took Too Long To Start

Is it just me, or...?

The Xbox One. Remember that beast? Solid machine. But let's be honest, it had... quirks.

And by quirks, I mean that one game. You know the one. The game that took approximately forever to start.

Seriously, was it building the game from scratch every time? I swear I could've learned a new language while waiting.

My friends with PlayStations would already be halfway through a level. Meanwhile, I'm staring at a spinning logo. Fun times!

I love video games. But nothing tests my patience like a glacial loading screen.

Okay, here's where things might get controversial. I'm just going to say it: Some games just weren't worth the wait.

Hear me out! I appreciate the artistry, the graphics, the compelling story. But 10 minutes to load? Nope.

That's precious gaming time I could be spending rage-quitting on something else! Priorities, people!

We've all been there. "Just one more minute, it's gotta load soon." That's what we tell ourselves.

Then, BAM! An hour later, and you're watching YouTube videos because you gave up.

The worst part? You can't even blame the game entirely. You wanted to play it! You're complicit!

So, what were the solutions? Besides sheer willpower and excessive caffeine?

Well, there was the classic: Go make a sandwich. Maybe do some laundry. Anything to avoid staring at the screen.

Then there was the "hard reset" approach. Force quit! Restart! Maybe that would magically fix things. Spoiler alert: it rarely did.

Thank goodness for faster consoles, am I right? The Xbox Series X/S feels like a gift from the gaming gods.

Games load in the blink of an eye! It's almost unsettling. Like, what do I do with all this newfound time?

Maybe I should learn that new language after all. Just kidding. More gaming!

Despite the loading screen struggles, I still loved my Xbox One. It gave me so many amazing gaming memories.

And those long load times? They taught me the importance of patience. Or at least, they tried to.
