Why Isn't Season 5 Of Rick And Morty On Hulu

Okay, let's talk Rick and Morty. Specifically, Season 5. And even more specifically, its glaring absence on Hulu. Where is it?
I know, I know. I'm probably the only one still checking Hulu. Everyone else moved on to HBO Max. Good for you. But some of us are Hulu loyalists!
The Great Streaming Divide
It's the year 2024. We are drowning in streaming services. Each with its own exclusive content. It's exhausting, honestly.
Must Read
Remember when you only needed Netflix? Simpler times. Now, I need a spreadsheet to track what shows are where. It’s madness!
Hulu's Betrayal (Maybe)
Hulu had the first four seasons. I watched them all! Multiple times. I even subjected my poor, unsuspecting grandma to Pickle Rick. She was…confused.
So, naturally, I assumed Season 5 would land there too. But nope. A gaping hole in my Hulu viewing schedule. Thanks, Hulu.

Is it a conspiracy? Probably not. But a tiny part of me thinks Evil Morty is somehow involved. He’s got the tech for it.
Maybe Hulu just didn't offer enough money. Maybe adult swim wanted more eyeballs on their own platform. Who knows?
My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves)
Here's where things get controversial. I think Season 5 wasn't that great. There, I said it. Don't @ me.

It had its moments, sure. But something felt…off. The jokes felt a little forced. The storylines were a bit convoluted, even for Rick and Morty.
Maybe Hulu knew something we didn't. Maybe they saw the future and decided to strategically avoid it. Think about it!
The Blame Game
So, who’s to blame? Adult Swim? HBO Max? The writers? My dwindling attention span?
Probably a combination of all of the above. But I'm still side-eyeing Hulu. They could have at least given us a heads-up. A little "Sorry, not sorry" notification.

It’s a cold, cruel streaming world out there. But hey, at least we have Interdimensional Cable to look forward to…eventually…somewhere.
What's a Fan To Do?
Okay, rant over. So where can you watch Season 5? HBO Max, as most of you probably know.
Or you can buy it. Remember buying things? Archaic, I know. But it's an option.

Or, you can just rewatch the first four seasons on Hulu. That’s what I’ll be doing. Maybe if we watch them enough, Hulu will get the hint. Wishful thinking, I know.
The streaming wars rage on. We, the viewers, are the casualties. But we persevere, searching for that next hit of animated genius.
Until then, I'll be over here, muttering about Rick and Morty and the injustice of it all. Wubba Lubba Dub Dub! (…but mostly Dub.)
So, does anyone else feel this way? Or am I truly alone in my Hulu-based despair? Let me know! Maybe we can start a support group.
