You know, the Rock Hall is like a big, yearly party for music legends. But can't attend in person? No problem! Luckily, we usually get to watch the highlights later.

HBO Max gave us the goods in 2021. The induction was on November 20, 2021.

Waiting Game: Was It Worth It?

I always feel like it's a bit of a waiting game. Waiting for the announcement, waiting for the ceremony, then waiting to see it on TV!

Did they choose the right people? Did Dave Grohl give an awesome speech? These are the important questions.

The Class of '21: A Mixed Bag

The 2021 class was definitely... diverse. Tina Turner finally got her due as a solo artist. About time, right?

And Carole King! A songwriting genius. No arguments from me there.

But then there's always the "who?" factor. You know, the inductees that make you scratch your head. Just me? I doubt it.

My Hot Take: Some Snubs Are Criminal

Okay, unpopular opinion time. The Rock Hall is cool, but it consistently overlooks some seriously deserving artists.

Where's Kate Bush been all these years? And how about Warren Zevon? Seriously, life's been good to The Eagles, but let's spread the love.

It's like they have a quota for "safe" choices. Bo-ring!

Ceremony Shenanigans: The Good, The Bad, & The Awkward

Let's be honest. The ceremony itself can be a bit of a rollercoaster. You've got killer performances and heartfelt speeches.

Then, BAM! Technical difficulties. Or some random celebrity trying to be funny and failing miserably.

Remember that acceptance speech that dragged on for, like, 20 minutes? Yeah, me too. Shudder.

Performances That Slayed (And Some That... Didn't)

The musical performances are make-or-break for me. A killer tribute can totally redeem a lackluster ceremony.

If the artist can bring it all together, that's even better.

But sometimes, it falls flat. Maybe the sound is off. Or the artist just doesn't connect. Tragic.

Rewatching and Remembering

Even with its flaws, I still watch the Rock Hall inductions. It's a chance to celebrate music history and discover (or rediscover) some amazing artists.

Plus, it's fun to yell at the TV when they snub someone I love. Don't judge.
