Is Season 4 Of Attack On Titan The Last Season

Wait, Another Last Season?!
Okay, people. Let's be honest. We need to talk about Attack on Titan. Specifically, the "last" season. Or, should I say, the "last-ish" season?
Is it just me, or have we been saying "this is the end" for, like, three years now? It feels longer.
A Never-Ending Story (About Titans)
Remember back when Season 4 dropped? We were all hyped. "This is it!" we screamed. "The grand finale!" The internet exploded.
Must Read
Then, surprise! It was Part 1. Okay, fine. We can handle Part 1. No problem.
But then... Part 2! And then... The Final Chapters Special 1! And...The Final Chapters Special 2! I swear, my brain did a Mikasa "Ereh" loop.
Is This the Last Train to... Freedom?
Seriously, I’m starting to think Hajime Isayama is just messing with us. Maybe he enjoys the chaos? Or perhaps he has an infinite well of Titan lore.

I wouldn’t be surprised if in a few years we get "Attack on Titan: The Epilogue - Seriously, We Mean It This Time!". With bonus titans!
I love the series. I really do. But my dedication is being tested.
Unpopular Opinion Time: It's Already Over (In My Heart)
Here's where I risk the wrath of the fandom. Brace yourselves. I think, emotionally, I’ve already said goodbye.

All those cliffhangers! The emotional rollercoaster! It's all been... a lot. My feels can't take another "final" battle.
Maybe that makes me a bad fan. Maybe I'm just tired. But the constant "last season" announcements feel like diminishing returns.
Where Does It End? With a Bang? Or a Whimper?
Don't get me wrong, I’m still going to watch the actual, for real, no takesies backsies, final ending. Curiosity will kill this cat (Titan?).

I just hope it's worth it. I hope it gives us the closure we desperately need. And maybe, just maybe, a little bit of peace for Eren.
But a small part of me will always believe that the real final season was... the friends we made along the way. (Okay, I'm kidding. Mostly.)
So, Is It Really Over This Time?
The question remains. Is this REALLY the end? Probably. Maybe. I'm like 70% sure?

I'm preparing myself for the inevitable "Attack on Titan: Next Generation" announcement in 2028. I’m calling it now.
Let's enjoy it, folks. Let's laugh, cry, and scream at our TVs one last (ish) time. And let’s cross our fingers that this really is the last time… until it isn't.
And when the world is done with me, I hope to be able to look back and say, "I survived the endless last season of Attack on Titan!". What a badge of honor!
