Impeachment: American Crime Story Season 3 Episode 3

Okay, folks, let's talk Impeachment: American Crime Story. Specifically, Episode 3. Buckle up, because I have some thoughts.
Did anyone else feel like this episode was... a slow burn? We’re supposed to be on the edge of our seats, right? But, honestly, I was reaching for snacks.
The Paula Jones Factor
Let's be real, Paula Jones gets a lot of screen time. And I get it, she's important to the story. But sometimes, I felt like I was watching a whole different show about, like, struggling to get dry cleaning money.
Must Read
I'm not saying her story isn't valid. It's just... was it this interesting to watch? Unpopular opinion: maybe not. Don't @ me!
Linda Tripp: Still Shady
Linda Tripp, played by the amazing Sarah Paulson, is always fascinating. Even when she's just making coffee.
But even with top-notch acting, her constant whispering and scheming can get a little old. I mean, girl, we get it. You're a complicated character.

Does anyone else suspect her motives were just as complex as the plot to ensnare President Clinton? Or even more?
Monica: Still Sympathetic
Monica Lewinsky continues to break my heart. Beanie Feldstein absolutely nails the naiveté and vulnerability.
You just want to give her a hug and tell her to run far, far away from all these shady characters. Seriously, though, poor girl!

The scene where she’s just trying to navigate office politics is cringe-worthy. We’ve all been there, right? Trying to figure out the lunchroom dynamics!
The President's Charm (Or Lack Thereof)
Clive Owen plays Bill Clinton. He's charming, sure, but is he that charming?
I’m not entirely convinced. Maybe it's just me, but his portrayal feels a little... forced at times. Like he's trying too hard.
Maybe I'm just immune to his "folksy" appeal. Anyone else feel this way?

The Overall Vibe
Episode 3 felt like a lot of setup. Lots of pieces moving into place.
Which is fine, I guess. But I wanted more fireworks! More drama! Give me something to chew on, besides popcorn.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still watching. I need to know how this all unfolds. But maybe, just maybe, my expectations were a little too high.

"This is all so complicated!"Yeah, Linda, you're telling me! It is a tangled web.
Maybe the next episode will bring the heat. Or maybe I'll just need more snacks. Either way, I'm here for the ride!
So, what are your thoughts? Am I completely off base? Let me know! Let's discuss in the comments (if there were any)!
And remember, this is just my opinion. Your mileage may vary. And it's okay to disagree. Unless you think Linda Tripp was a saint. Then, we need to talk.
