How Many Episodes Of Big Sky Season 2 Are There

Okay, let's talk Big Sky. Specifically, Big Sky Season 2. The burning question on everyone's mind, or maybe just mine? How many episodes did we actually get?

You'd think it'd be simple. One Google search and boom, answer. But sometimes, the internet lies. Or at least, it's really confusing.

The Official Number (Spoiler Alert: It's a Bit)

So, the "official" answer? Season 2 of Big Sky has 18 episodes. Eighteen! That's a whole lotta Montana drama, right?

Which, if you ask me, is bordering on too much. Just saying.

But Here's My Unpopular Opinion...

Don't get me wrong. I enjoy a good mystery. And Big Sky definitely brings the twists and turns.

However, did Season 2 need eighteen episodes? My answer is a resounding NO. Honestly, I think it could've been tighter, faster, and way more impactful with, say, 12 or 13 episodes.

Think about it. Less filler. More killer (pun intended, obviously, given the show's premise).

I felt like some storylines just dragged on forever. I won't name names (looking at you, creepy foster dad!), but you know what I mean.

Remember That Time...? (A Slight Rant)

Remember that time when Ronald was… well, I won't spoil it for anyone who's behind. But it felt like that storyline just would not END.

It was like the writers were paid by the scene. More Ronald, more money! (Just kidding… mostly.)

This is why I think fewer episodes would have been beneficial. It would force the writers to be more concise and more focused.

Quality Over Quantity, People!

Look, I'm not saying Big Sky Season 2 was terrible. It had its moments of brilliance. Cassie Dewell, forever iconic.

Jenny Hoyt? A total badass. And don't even get me started on the Montana scenery. Breathtaking.

But I think it could have been even better with a little bit of editing. A little less fluff, a little more punch.
