How Many Episodes Does Rick And Morty Season 5 Have

Okay, fellow Rick and Morty addicts! Let's talk. Specifically, let's talk about season 5. And more specifically, the burning question: How many episodes were we blessed (or cursed?) with?
The Official Count
Ready for the big reveal? Season 5 clocks in at a cool ten episodes. Yep, just ten. The standard serving of interdimensional mayhem.
Seems simple enough, right? But is it enough? Let's dive a bit deeper, shall we?

My Unpopular Opinion
Here's where things get spicy. I'm gonna say it. Ten episodes felt... rushed. Gasp! I know! Blasphemy!
But hear me out! Did anyone else feel like certain storylines were crammed in? Or maybe some jokes didn't quite land as perfectly as they usually do?
Don't get me wrong, I still laughed. I mean, it's Rick and Morty. But something felt... off.

A Quick Episode Recap (Without Spoilers!)
We had the Mr. Nimbus episode. Remember that one? The horny ocean man and Rick's nemesis? Yeah, that happened.
Then there was the Decoy episode. Classic Rick and Morty shenanigans with decoys. Always a good time.
And who could forget the Thanksgiving episode with the disturbing turkey president? Truly bizarre, even for this show.

Each episode had its moments. Some were instant classics. Others... well, let's just say they were "memorable."
Is It Just Me?
Seriously, am I alone in thinking season 5 felt a bit uneven? Maybe the pandemic affected production. Maybe the writers were experimenting.
Maybe I'm just being overly critical. But I miss the tightly woven narratives of earlier seasons.
Remember the Pickle Rick episode? Or the Vat of Acid episode? Those were masterpieces!

Quantity vs. Quality
It's not just about the number of episodes, right? It's about the quality of those episodes. And that's where season 5 gets tricky.
While it had some brilliant moments, it also had some... less brilliant moments. A bit more filler than usual, perhaps?
Maybe fewer episodes, but with tighter writing, would have been better? Just a thought.

Looking Ahead
Despite my minor grievances, I'm still hyped for future seasons! I'm a Rick and Morty fan for life. I'm hoping the future seasons delivers!
Hopefully, the writers will take the criticisms to heart. And give us more of that genius, mind-bending, laugh-out-loud comedy we all crave.
So, ten episodes in season 5. Take it or leave it. But let's all agree: we want more Rick and Morty. Just... better.
