The challenges this episode were brutal, no doubt. Hanging off cliffs? Gross food challenges? I’d rather binge-watch paint dry.

But seriously, do these celebs really understand what they signed up for? Or are they just playing it up for the cameras?

The arguments! The tears! The manufactured tension! Celebrity SAS is basically a soap opera with extra mud.

I suspect the producers are geniuses at creating drama. A carefully placed camera angle can make anything look explosive.

My unpopular opinion: I’m here for the drama! It's trashy, I know. But I can't help it.

The celebs are always talking about how they're learning about themselves. Finding inner strength and blah blah blah.

Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. It's hard to tell through all the fake tan and strategically placed dirt.

Hopefully, they’re learning something useful that doesn't involve crawling through mud.

Ultimately, someone will "win" Celebrity SAS. But does it really matter?

They haven’t actually won anything. They’ve just survived a TV show. With shouting. And mud.

My unpopular opinion: The real winner is the viewer, who gets to sit on the sofa and judge everyone else.

Even if it’s all a bit contrived, Celebrity SAS is still strangely compelling. Like a car crash you can't look away from.

We keep watching because we love to see celebrities suffer. It's a bit mean, but it's true.
