Look, I love a good backstory. I really do!

But that deep dive into Eldian history? It was dense. Like, "textbook you forgot to read for the exam" dense.

I found myself reaching for the coffee. I was really trying to stay awake!

"History is written by the victors." - Someone probably during that episode.

While everyone else was losing their minds over the basement and family drama, Armin was putting the pieces together.

He's like the Sherlock Holmes of titan-fighting. Seriously, that kid is smart.

Give Armin a medal! And maybe a nap. He deserves both.

Okay, okay, I'll admit it. The ending did get me. The ocean reveal? That was powerful.

Seeing Eren staring out at the water, finally free…but then, that dark look in his eyes? Chills.

It set the stage for everything that came next. Suddenly, that toaster... I mean, the basement reveal, felt a little more important.

So, was episode 9 perfect? No. Was it a crucial turning point in the story? Absolutely.

It gave us answers, raised even more questions, and cemented Attack on Titan as one of the most compelling anime ever made.

And even though I might have grumbled a little bit, I was definitely ready for whatever came next. Bring on the titans!
