First time host? Buckle up. It’s gonna be a wild ride. Hopefully, it’ll be more “West Side Story” awesome, and less…well, you know…the not-so-great sketches of SNL’s past.

My Hot Take (Prepare to Disagree!)

Okay, unpopular opinion time. I secretly love when a host bombs. Hear me out! It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion. You can't look away. Plus, it gives us something to talk about on Monday morning!

Of course, I want Ariana DeBose to slay. I truly do. But a tiny, tiny part of me is hoping for at least one slightly awkward moment. For the drama, obviously. Purely for the drama. Don't judge me!

The Pressure is ON!

Imagine being Ariana right now. She's got an Oscar. She's got talent oozing out of every pore. And now? Now she has to be funny…on live television! It’s a recipe for either legendary status or a really good story for her grandkids.

SNL can be brutal. It's a comedy gauntlet. Some survive. Some…don't. I am pretty confident DeBose will do great.

But hey, at least she's not hosting alone! Musical guest? Someone cool to distract us if the sketches aren’t up to par.

Look, let's be real. We all want to see her do a musical number. Maybe a "West Side Story" parody? Or a sketch about the Oscars? The possibilities are endless!

And impressions! Please, please, PLEASE give us some celebrity impressions. Can she do Lady Gaga? What about JLo? These are the questions that keep me up at night.

Here's my prediction: At least one sketch will go viral. Either for being hilariously brilliant or hilariously bad. There is no in-between. It’s the law of SNL.

I'm also betting on a cameo from a famous friend. Maybe Lin-Manuel Miranda will pop in for a song? Or perhaps Rita Moreno will grace us with her presence? A girl can dream.

Ultimately, I hope Ariana just has fun. Because if she's having fun, we're having fun. Right? That’s how comedy works.

Only time will tell. But one thing's for sure: I'll be watching. With popcorn. And maybe a stress ball. Just in case. You never know with Saturday Night Live!
