Okay, people. Let’s talk about America's Next Top Model, season three, episode one. The premiere! I have thoughts. Some might be unpopular. Buckle up, buttercups.

The Auditions: A Whirlwind of Wannabes

The audition montage is always hilarious. So many girls, so many dreams. And SO many bad outfits. Seriously, what were they thinking?

There's always that one girl who thinks she's already won. You know the type! The one oozing confidence. Bless her heart.

Then, there's the nervous wreck who can barely speak. I always feel bad for them... until they start crying. Then I'm just uncomfortable.

Meet Tyra: Queen of Smize

Of course, Tyra Banks makes her grand entrance. Her outfits, as always, were...a choice. But you gotta love her confidence. She can rock anything!

She talks about finding the "total package." You know: beauty, personality, and the ability to follow instructions. Apparently, that's a rare combination.

And the smize! We all know what smize is, Tyra just had to remind us all.

The Semi-Finalists: Tears and Tantrums

The semi-finalists are chosen. Cue the tears! Some are happy, some are devastated. It's a real rollercoaster of emotions.

I'm always amazed at how dramatic people get. It's just a TV show, people! Though, a very addicting one.

And the comments! Some of the girls were so mean. "She's not even pretty!" Girl, chill. You haven't even made it to the house yet.

The First Challenge: Runway Woes

The first challenge is the dreaded runway walk. Always a classic! High heels and a wobbly walk. Pure entertainment.

Some girls totally nail it. Others... not so much. There's always someone who trips. It's like a law of reality TV.

I especially cringe when they have to walk in something ridiculous. Like, six-inch platforms on cobblestone. Torture!

The Photoshoot: Swimsuits and Sunburns

The photoshoot is on a beach! Swimsuits, sand, and sunshine. What could go wrong?

Well, sunburns for one! And awkward posing. Let's be real, posing in a swimsuit in front of strangers is terrifying.

Tyra gives them posing tips. "Neck!" "Hips!" It's a whole language of its own.

My Unpopular Opinion: Ann Deserves More Love

Okay, here's my controversial take: I actually liked Ann Markley in this episode. She was quirky and awkward. But, she seemed genuine.

Everyone seemed to dislike her right away. I think she could have done really well if she hadn't been first booted from the show. She had potential, she was unique looking.

She didn't fit the stereotypical model mold. And that's what I appreciated. Maybe I was rooting for the underdog. Sue me!

The Elimination: Goodbye, Someone

Finally, the elimination. Someone has to go home. It's the nature of the beast.

Ann was the first to get axed. The judges did not take kindly to her photos. Poor girl!

And with that, the journey to find America's Next Top Model begins! So many faces, so much drama to unfold.

Bring on episode two! I'm ready for more awkward posing and questionable fashion choices.
