Yamada Kun And The Seven Witches Opening

Okay, let's talk about something important. Something that's been bugging me. It's the opening to Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches. Am I the only one who finds it…a little much?
The Visuals: A Sensory Overload?
First off, the visuals. Bright colors! Flashing lights! So many characters popping up! My eyes are working overtime. It's like they crammed the entire anime into 90 seconds.
Don't get me wrong, the animation is good. It's just...intense. I sometimes feel like I need a lie-down after watching it.
Must Read
Anyone else ever just squint a little and hope it ends soon? I’m just saying, subtlety isn’t its strong suit.
The Music: Catchy but...Repetitive?
Now, the music. It's undeniably catchy, I’ll give it that. I've caught myself humming it. Even in public, and I'm not proud of it.
But does anyone else think it gets a little repetitive? It feels like the same four chords on loop. For the entire opening!

Maybe I'm just being picky. But after the tenth episode, it becomes background noise. Pure, unadulterated background noise.
The Spoilers: Did They Just Ruin the Plot?
Let's be honest, the opening practically gives away the entire plot. All seven witches flash before your eyes. Their powers get a mini-showcase. Surprise, surprise!
Where's the mystery? The intrigue? I feel robbed of the initial excitement. Yamada could have been more shocking!

It's like reading the last chapter of a book before starting the first. What’s the point of watching, then?
Character Overload: Who's Who Again?
So many characters! They all appear in quick succession! It's hard to keep track of them. Especially early in the series.
I spend half the opening trying to remember their names. And their powers. It’s a workout for the brain. A confusing, colorful workout.

Maybe a slow zoom-in would have helped? Just a thought. Introduce Shiraishi slowly?
Unpopular Opinion Time: It's Not That Great
Here it is. My unpopular opinion. The Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches opening isn't that great. Gasp!
It’s fine. Perfectly acceptable. But it doesn't blow me away like other anime openings. There, I said it.

I'm prepared for the backlash. Bring on the angry comments! But maybe, just maybe, someone agrees with me.
Am I Alone? The Search for Validation
Seriously, am I the only one who feels this way? Is my anime-loving license revoked? Someone please tell me I'm not crazy.
Maybe I’m just getting old. Maybe my tastes are changing. Or maybe, just maybe, this opening is a bit overrated.
So, sound off in the comments! Let me know your thoughts. And please, be kind. I'm just a lonely anime fan, searching for validation.
