The actors have moved on, too. William H. Macy is doing other stuff. Emmy Rossum, even though she left earlier, is busy. Bringing everyone back would be tough!

Okay, okay, I admit it. There were some plot threads left dangling. What happened to Lip's house? Did Carl become a good cop?

And let's be real, we miss the South Side shenanigans. The Gallagher's brand of chaos is uniquely entertaining. Who wouldn't want to see more of that?

So, it's not completely crazy to think Shameless could come back. The demand is definitely there. People still binge-watch it!

Networks love money, and Shameless made them a lot of it. Never underestimate the power of cold, hard cash.

My Verdict (and a Plea!)

Honestly, I'm torn. Part of me wants more, more, more! But another part of me is scared. Scared they'll ruin what was already great.

If they do bring it back, please, writers, don't mess it up. Keep the humor dark. Keep the characters flawed. And for goodness sake, give Ian and Mickey a happy ending (that stays happy!).
