Will There Be A Attack On Titan Season 5

Will There Be A Attack On Titan Season 5

Okay, let's talk Attack on Titan. We all binged it, right? Cried a little? Maybe even screamed at the TV? Good. Me too.

But here's the thing. Season 4 wrapped things up. Pretty definitively, I might add. So, are we really getting an Attack on Titan Season 5?

The Rumor Mill is Spinning!

The internet's buzzing, of course. "Season 5 CONFIRMED!" screams one headline. "Isayama Secretly Plotting a Sequel!" yells another.

Honestly, I take it all with a grain of salt. Remember all those "Game of Thrones" spin-offs that were supposed to save us? Yeah, me too.

Why Season 5 is… Unlikely (Hear Me Out!)

Okay, unpopular opinion incoming: I don't want a Season 5. Gasp! I know, I know.

The ending, while controversial, was an ending. We saw the cycle of hate. We witnessed the consequences. It was impactful, even if it made us want to throw our remotes at the wall.

Bringing it back just feels... forced. Like trying to reheat day-old pizza. Sure, it's still pizza, but is it good pizza?

Besides, where would they even go? Everyone's either dead, emotionally scarred, or busy rebuilding the world. Not exactly fertile ground for titan-slaying adventures, is it?

But… Never Say Never!

Okay, okay, I'll concede a point. Money talks. And Attack on Titan talks loudly when it comes to money.

If the suits at MAPPA think they can squeeze more juice out of the Attack on Titan lemon, they probably will. That's just the way the world works, sadly.

Maybe we'd get a spin-off focusing on a different generation. Perhaps a prequel about the Great Titan War? The possibilities, while terrifying, are endless.

What Would a Good Season 5 Even Look Like?

If, against my better judgment, Hajime Isayama himself decides to revisit the Attack on Titan universe, it would need to be amazing.

Not just good. Not just "okay." It would need to blow our minds. It would need to justify its existence.

And let's be honest, that's a pretty high bar. The original series already set a gold standard for anime storytelling (at least, for a good chunk of it).

Personally, I'd rather see Isayama pour his creative energy into something completely new. Let Attack on Titan rest in peace... or, you know, in the rumbling dust.

So, will there be a Season 5? Maybe. Probably not. And secretly? I hope not. Let the titans stay down.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch Season 1 and pretend the ending never happened. Don't judge me.

What about you? Are you hoping for more Attack on Titan? Or are you ready to let it go? Sound off in the comments!
