So, About That One Piece Dub on Crunchyroll...

Okay, let's be real. We've all been there. Staring longingly at the Crunchyroll homepage, dreaming of the day...

The day One Piece's English dub finally graces their platform. I mean, come on!

It's the question that haunts our anime-loving souls. We're caught in a never-ending One Piece episode of "Will They?" or "Won't They?".

Funimation had it. Now Crunchyroll owns Funimation. So logically, right...?

Well, logic and streaming rights rarely seem to be best buddies.

Here's where I put on my tinfoil hat. Ready?

Maybe, just maybe, they're waiting to drop it all at once. Like a massive, glorious, dub-filled tidal wave.

Imagine! All those episodes, all those voices...instant binge-watching bliss.

Now, I know what you're thinking. "Subtitles are superior!". And hey, I respect that.

But sometimes, you just want to relax. Eat some popcorn. And not have to read at lightning speed.

Plus, some of the One Piece dub voice actors are amazing! They really bring the characters to life in their own way.

Here it comes... I actually kind of like some of the filler arcs. Especially when I can just listen in English while I'm doing chores.

There, I said it. Don't judge me too harshly.

Besides, filler provides character development…right? (Please agree with me.)

Look, I'm not saying it's guaranteed. But a girl can dream, can't she?

Perhaps the merger between Funimation and Crunchyroll has created some... complications.

But the possibilities are endless. Maybe they're renegotiating contracts. Maybe they're re-mastering the audio.

For now, we can keep tweeting at Crunchyroll. Politely, of course!

We can re-watch our favorite subbed episodes (for the 10th time!).

And most importantly, we can keep spreading the One Piece love.

Because whether you're a sub purist or a dub devotee, we're all on this crazy pirate adventure together.

So, will the One Piece dub ever land on Crunchyroll? Only time will tell.
