Will Hotel Transylvania 4 Be On Hbo Max

So, everyone's still buzzing about Hotel Transylvania 4: Transformania, right? We all saw it. Or… did we?
The big question on everyone's mind, especially those of us who love watching movies from our couches, is: was it on HBO Max? Or was it another streaming service stealing the spotlight?
Where Did Our Favorite Monsters Land?
Okay, let's get this straight. Remember all the rumors? All the whispers about Drac and the gang heading straight to HBO Max?
Must Read
Well, plot twist! Hotel Transylvania 4 actually ended up on Amazon Prime Video. Yeah, I know. A little unexpected, isn't it?
But Wait, There's More!
Here's where things get a little spicy. Many of us secretly wished it had been on HBO Max. Am I alone in this unpopular opinion?
Let's be honest, HBO Max has been seriously crushing it with their animated content lately. They've got everything from classic cartoons to new, original series.

Wouldn't it have been awesome to see Dracula and his monster pals hanging out with Bugs Bunny and the Justice League? Just imagine the crossovers!
My Unpopular Opinion: HBO Max Would Have Been Better
Now, I'm not saying Amazon Prime Video is bad. They have some great stuff too. But something about Hotel Transylvania's vibe just screams HBO Max to me.
Maybe it's the slightly more mature humor? Or the fact that HBO Max feels a little more "prestige" when it comes to animation? I don't know, I just get that feeling.
Plus, think about the marketing! HBO Max could have gone all out, creating hilarious promos and behind-the-scenes features. A missed opportunity, I say!

Don't Get Me Wrong, I Still Watched It
Of course, I still signed up for Amazon Prime Video to watch the movie. Who could resist seeing Johnny as a monster and Drac as a human?
The animation was still top-notch. The jokes still landed (mostly). And the story, while a little…out there… was still enjoyable.
But every time I was watching, I couldn't help but think, "This would be even better on HBO Max!" Seriously, picture the opening credits with that HBO Max logo. Chefs Kiss!

So, What's the Lesson Here?
Well, the lesson is that sometimes, the streaming gods don't align with our personal preferences. And that's okay.
We still get to watch fun movies with our families, even if they aren't on our "dream" platform. Although, let's hope Hotel Transylvania 5 (if it ever happens) takes my suggestion.
Maybe someone from Sony Pictures will read this and consider my plea. Hey, a monster can dream, right? Give HBO Max a shot!
Final Thoughts (and Another Unpopular Opinion)
Look, I know this is just my opinion. And I'm probably in the minority here. But I firmly believe Hotel Transylvania 4 would have reached even greater heights on HBO Max.

It's just a better fit, aesthetically and content-wise. The algorithms would have been kinder! The memes would have been funnier!
So, next time you're making a big decision, Sony, think about the fans who dream of monster movies on their favorite streaming service. And consider giving HBO Max a call!
At the end of the day, we love Hotel Transylvania. We just want to love it even more, and maybe on a platform we subscribe to already! Is that too much to ask?
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go watch some animated movies on HBO Max. Maybe I'll even pretend Drac is there, hiding behind Bugs Bunny. You never know!
