Why Won't Disney Plus Work On My Macbook

Oh, Disney Plus. The land of endless animated classics and, apparently, endless buffering screens. Especially when I'm trying to watch it on my Macbook.
Is it just me, or does anyone else have this problem? I swear, I spend more time troubleshooting than actually watching The Mandalorian.
The Great Macbook-Disney Plus Standoff
It's like my Macbook has a personal vendetta against all things Disney. Maybe it's jealous of all the magic on screen. Who knows?
Must Read
I've tried everything. Seriously, everything. Clearing my cache? Check. Restarting my browser? Double-check. Sacrificing a mouse to the tech gods? Okay, maybe not that last one...yet.
But still, the dreaded spinning wheel of doom. It mocks me with its slow, agonizing revolutions. My Pixar dreams are turning into digital nightmares.
Is it my internet? Probably. But maybe not.
Of course, the first suspect is always the internet. "Your connection is unstable," says the robot overlords. Thanks, I already knew that.

But then I stream 4K nature documentaries about sloths without a single hiccup. What's up with that, internet? Are you pro-sloth, anti-Mickey Mouse?
It's enough to make you think there's a conspiracy. A tech conspiracy! Big Mouse trying to force us to buy new devices. I'm onto you, Disney!
The Browser Blues
Then there's the whole browser situation. Safari? Nope. Chrome? Sometimes. Firefox? Maybe if you sacrifice another mouse. Okay, I'm kidding again.

It feels like a lottery every time I open a new tab. Will it work? Won't it work? Place your bets, folks! The suspense is killing me!
I've even tried downloading different versions of each browser. I'm basically a browser archaeologist at this point, digging through the digital ruins of outdated software.
The Unpopular Opinion Zone
Okay, here's where I get controversial. I think Disney Plus just isn't as optimized for Macbooks as it should be.

Don't get me wrong, I love Disney. I'll defend Toy Story to the death. But, come on, guys! Get your act together!
Maybe it's an unpopular opinion. Maybe everyone else is streaming Hamilton flawlessly on their Macbooks. But I suspect I'm not alone.
My Solution (For Now)
So, what's a frustrated Disney fan to do? Well, for now, I've resorted to watching on my iPad. It's not ideal, but at least it works (most of the time).

I'm also considering building a shrine to Steve Jobs, hoping his spirit will intervene and magically fix my streaming woes. Desperate times, right?
Until then, I'll continue to battle the buffering screens and the unpredictable whims of my Macbook. Wish me luck!
And Disney, if you're listening, please, please, PLEASE fix this. My sanity depends on it. And my ability to rewatch Moana for the 500th time.
Maybe I should just go back to VHS tapes. At least those were reliable...ish.
