Why Isn't Netflix Working On My Lg Tv

Okay, let's be honest. Has your LG TV ever betrayed you? Specifically, with Netflix?
Mine has. More times than I care to admit.
The Dreaded Spinning Wheel
There it is. That little circle of doom. You know the one. The Netflix loading icon that mocks your streaming dreams.
Must Read
It spins. And spins. And spins some more. Is it buffering? Is it broken? Is my TV staging a revolt?
I suspect the latter. My unpopular opinion? My LG TV secretly hates Netflix.
The Great Wi-Fi Conspiracy
First, everyone blames the Wi-Fi. "Oh, it's your internet!" they say. As if I haven't reset the router approximately 7,842 times.
The Wi-Fi is fine! My phone is happily downloading cat videos. My laptop is streaming cooking shows.

Only Netflix on the LG TV is staging a protest. A digital sit-in, if you will.
The App Update Game
Then comes the app update dance. Delete. Reinstall. Pray to the tech gods. Hope for a miracle.
Sometimes it works. Briefly. Like a fragile truce in a streaming war.
Other times? More spinning. More frustration. More longing for the days of physical media.
The HDMI Cable Hustle
Next, the HDMI cable gets the blame. "Maybe it's loose!" they cry. So you wiggle it. You jiggle it. You question its very existence.

Is this cable truly my enemy? Is it plotting against my binge-watching session?
Probably not. But hey, worth a shot, right?
The TV's Secret Agenda
Here's where my unpopular opinion kicks in again. I truly believe my LG TV has a secret agenda.
Maybe it's jealous of all the time I spend watching Netflix. Maybe it prefers YouTube. Maybe it just wants attention.
It's like a toddler throwing a tantrum. "Look at me! I can also show you boring cable channels!"

The Remote Control Rebellion
And the remote! Don't even get me started. It works perfectly fine for everything else.
But when it comes to Netflix? It develops a mind of its own. Skips episodes. Pauses at random. Refuses to cooperate.
Is it possessed? Maybe. Or maybe it's just another cog in the anti-Netflix machine.
The Factory Reset Option (aka Digital Nuclear Option)
Finally, there's the dreaded factory reset. The last resort. The digital nuclear option.
Wipe everything clean and start over. Lose all your settings. Re-enter all your passwords. Hope for the best.

Does it fix the Netflix problem? Sometimes. But at what cost? The cost of my sanity, that's what.
Am I Alone?
So, am I the only one experiencing this LG TV vs. Netflix drama?
Or are there others out there, silently battling their own streaming demons?
Let me know. Misery loves company. And maybe, just maybe, we can start a support group. Or, you know, a class-action lawsuit.
In the meantime, I'm going back to my spinning wheel. Wish me luck.
