Why Can't I Watch The Closer On Netflix

Okay, let's talk about something near and dear to my heart: the glorious, the captivating, the downright addictive TV show, The Closer! Specifically, let's talk about why, oh WHY, it's playing hard to get on Netflix.
I mean, seriously, what's the deal? It feels like a personal affront. Like someone stole my favorite donut and is dangling it just out of reach.
The Great Netflix Void
Picture this: You're all snuggled on the couch, craving a dose of Brenda Leigh Johnson's unique interrogation style. You reach for the remote, ready to dive into a juicy case, and...bam! Nothing. Nada. Zilch. The Closer is nowhere to be found on Netflix.
Must Read
It's like going to your favorite ice cream shop only to discover they're completely out of your go-to flavor. Disappointment doesn't even begin to cover it.
Where is Kyra Sedgwick doing her amazing southern belle act?! We NEED her saying "Thank you!" in that sweet-yet-terrifying voice.
Is it me? Am I the problem?
Maybe I'm cursed. Perhaps I've offended the Streaming Gods. Or maybe I just haven't sacrificed enough snacks to the altar of online entertainment. It’s all very confusing.

I check. I double-check. I triple-check. Still no The Closer. I’m starting to think my Netflix account is gaslighting me.
My friends, am I going crazy? Surely, other people feel my pain! I need to see Provenza and Flynn's banter!
The Streaming Shuffle
It's the streaming shuffle, folks. Shows jump around platforms like hyperactive toddlers in a bouncy house.
One minute they're here, the next they're gone, whisked away to some other digital kingdom where we have to pay another subscription fee just to catch a glimpse.

It's enough to make a person consider building their own personal streaming service… powered by hamsters on tiny treadmills.
Don't despair, fellow fans!
Okay, okay, deep breaths. We might not have The Closer on Netflix right now, but that doesn't mean all hope is lost.
There's always the chance it'll magically reappear one day, like a long-lost treasure unearthed from the depths of the internet.

Maybe we can all write strongly worded letters to Netflix. Or perhaps start a petition? Operation: Bring Back Brenda is a go!
Alternatives? We've Got Options! (Sort Of)
In the meantime, we have options! (Well, some options.)
There's always the possibility of purchasing episodes or seasons on platforms like Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV. Though, I'm not saying that is the best solution.
Of course, physical DVDs are an option, but who has a DVD player hooked up to their TV these days?

And, of course, we can always re-watch our favorite episodes online... using totally legitimate means, of course. (Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge.) I'm kidding! Piracy is bad, kids. Don't do it! Do not quote me!
The Power of Hope (and Streaming Services)
So, while The Closer remains elusive on Netflix, let's hold onto hope. Maybe, just maybe, one day we'll be able to binge-watch Brenda Leigh Johnson's crime-solving genius to our hearts' content.
Until then, we'll keep searching, keep streaming, and keep dreaming of the day The Closer finally returns to its rightful place on our favorite platform. I want to see Fritz Howard in action!
Remember, folks, a little bit of hope can go a long way. And, if all else fails, there's always reruns on cable… if you can find them!
