Why Can't I Find The Witches On Hbo Max

Okay, let's be honest. We've all been there.

You're scrolling through HBO Max. Popcorn's ready. You're craving some witchy goodness. But... where are the witches?

Seriously, where is The Witches? The 1990 classic, of course. Not the... other one. We'll get to that.

The Missing Witches Mystery

It's like a game of streaming hide-and-seek. Except, the witches are REALLY good at hiding. And I'm bad at seeking.

I swear, I've typed "witch" into the search bar more times than I've brushed my teeth this week. (Don't judge.)

Okay, here it comes. I'm saying it. The 1990 The Witches is superior. There! I said it!

The practical effects? The slightly terrifying Grand High Witch played by Anjelica Huston? Chef's kiss!

It’s the nostalgia! It’s the dark humor! It’s the turning-children-into-mice thing! It all just WORKS.

This is the million-dollar question. The one that keeps me up at night. (Okay, maybe not, but you get the idea.)

Licensing issues? Streaming wars? Witch conspiracy? Honestly, who knows!

It’s a mystery for the ages. A streaming age, that is.

Fine, HBO Max. If you won't give me my classic witches, I'll find them elsewhere.

There are other streaming services, you know! And, dare I say it, physical media still exists.
