Why Are Some Episodes Of Survivor Missing On Hulu

Okay, let's talk Survivor. We all love it. We all binge it. But then... BAM! Where'd that season go on Hulu? It's like Jeff Probst just snuffed its torch from existence.

Seriously, what's the deal? You're all set for a relaxing night of tribal councils and immunity challenges. You load up Hulu, ready for Heroes vs. Villains. Only to find... it's not there! Or maybe it's just some episodes missing. Infuriating, right?

It feels like a personal attack. Are they trying to torture us? Is Jeff Probst personally editing the seasons to remove his embarrassing moments? Probably not, but a girl can dream!

Okay, I'm not a lawyer. But I'm guessing it's something boring like copyright issues. Maybe some song they used in a challenge is causing problems. It's probably cheaper to pull the episode than pay for the rights.

Or maybe it's a licensing agreement gone wrong. These streaming deals are complicated. I bet there are spreadsheets involved. Spreadsheets! The true enemy of Survivor binge-watching.

My Unpopular Opinion

Here's where I get controversial. I think some seasons are... not great. I said it! There, I feel better. Maybe Hulu's doing us a favor by hiding the duds.

Think about it. Do we really need to re-watch every single season? Some are just…forgettable. Like that one season with the medevacs. You know the one. We all try to forget it.

I know, I know. Every season has its moments. But some moments are just painful to watch. Like when someone eats a bug for the camera. I can skip that, thanks.

The Real Conspiracy (Maybe)

What if CBS is doing this on purpose? Hear me out! They want us to buy the complete season on DVD. Or, gasp, subscribe to Paramount+ for the real complete collection.

It's a diabolical plan! They dangle the Survivor carrot. We get hooked. Then, they snatch away the episodes. Leaving us desperate for more tribal drama.

A Plea to Hulu

Dear Hulu, please explain yourselves! Just tell us why the episodes are missing. We can handle the truth (maybe). We deserve closure on this streaming mystery.

And while you're at it, could you add subtitles to the challenge explanations? I still don't understand what "ballistics" means in the context of Survivor. I swear it changes every season.

Ultimately, we just want our Survivor. We want to yell at the TV when someone makes a bad move. We want to judge the fashion choices. And we want to do it all in glorious, uninterrupted streaming bliss.

So, what are we supposed to do? Search the dark corners of the internet? Buy physical copies like it's 2005? Re-watch Australian Survivor (it's actually really good)?
