Okay, let's be honest. We all binged Scream Queens Season 1. It was pure, unadulterated, campy goodness. And that Red Devil? Terrifyingly fabulous. But, who was really behind that mask?

The Obvious Suspects

First, we had the twins, Boone and Hester. Boone, played by Nick Jonas, faked his death. He popped up at the worst times! Hester, a.k.a. Chanel #6, had that whole neck brace thing going on. She was definitely shady.

Then there were the Dickie Dollar Scholars. Chad Radwell was basically a suspect for breathing. And Pete, the journalist? His motives were definitely questionable.

Everyone, even Dean Munsch, was a suspect at some point. Let's admit it, she's capable of anything. She wanted to get rid of the Kappa's!

What if the killer was…wait for it…Gigi Caldwell?

I know, I know. She was supposedly a victim. But, hear me out! What if she orchestrated the whole thing to get revenge? Maybe she was a mastermind, using Boone and Hester as pawns.

Why Gigi, You Ask?

Think about it. Gigi was weirdly calm during the chaos. She was always just there. And she was obsessed with those 1995 Kappa pledges.

She even gave Hester the neck brace. Talk about planting evidence and stirring up trouble. Was it all a big game for her? I suspect so!

Maybe Gigi's "crazy" act was just a cover. A way to deflect suspicion. I think she wanted revenge on Kappa Kappa Tau. She just did it in the most theatrical way possible.

She was always around, and never really seemed that scared. Plus, she had a history with the bathtub incident in 1995.

I know the show points to Hester. But, sometimes the obvious answer isn't the right one. Sometimes, it's the seemingly harmless person who's the most dangerous.

The Real Reason I Think It's Gigi

Here's the real reason I suspect Gigi: It would be the most shocking twist! Scream Queens thrived on absurdity. And what's more absurd than the victim being the mastermind?

It fits the show's tone perfectly. Plus, Niecy Nash is amazing at playing crazy characters! Imagine her chewing the scenery as the real Red Devil.

Imagine the epic monologues! The over-the-top reveals! It would be television gold. Even better than the amazing Chanel Oberlin's rants.

In conclusion, I stand by my (probably incorrect) theory. Gigi Caldwell was the true Red Devil. She's the reason Kappa Kappa Tau was a mess. She wanted to have fun torturing everyone.

Of course, the writers had other plans. But, a girl can dream, right? What do you think? Am I completely off base?
