Who Is Still Alive From The Mash Cast

Okay, let's talk MASH. That show was HUGE, right? We all loved (or at least pretended to love) it.
The Elephant in the Room: Some Legends Are Gone
First things first, let's acknowledge the sad news. Many of the actors are no longer with us. Alan Alda is still alive, but some of the others are not.
So many iconic faces. Gone too soon, really. We miss them!

But Who IS Still With Us?
Alright, time for some good news. Plenty of the MASH gang are still kicking! Ready to see who made the cut?
Of course, the big one: Alan Alda. Still charming, still brilliant. He was Hawkeye.
He is still around and is as great as he ever was. He's aged gracefully, let's be honest.

Then there's Loretta Swit, our beloved Hot Lips Houlihan! She's still going strong too. Did you know she loves animals?
It's great to see that she's still around. I always loved her in the show. She brought such a nice dynamic.
And what about Jamie Farr, the cross-dressing Klinger? Yep, he's still with us! Toledo's finest.
He provided much comedic relief. I bet he has many stories to tell.

Don't forget William Christopher! Oh wait, he unfortunately passed away. It is sad to report, he is no longer with us.
A Few More Faces
Mike Farrell (B.J. Hunnicutt) is also still alive. Hawkeye's partner in crime! They balanced each other out, right?
He brought a certain calmness to the show. That was much appreciated.
And Kellye Nakahara who played Nurse Kellye. She sadly passed away in 2020.

Many fans remember her as one of the beloved background characters. She brought a certain something that was nice.
It's always a mix of emotions when you think about shows like MASH. So many memories! So many talented people.
My Unpopular Opinion (Maybe?)
Okay, here's where I might get some flak. I think the later seasons of MASH get a bad rap. It was still good television!
Sure, it got a little more serious. The writers experimented a little with the formula, I appreciate that.

Plus, let's be real. Every show changes over time. MAS*H was no exception. It ended in 1983!
"The trick is to grow up without growing old." - Alan Alda
So, there you have it. A little look at who's still with us from that iconic show. Maybe time for a rewatch?
I think I'm going to watch an episode right now. Who is with me? It'll bring back memories.
Thanks for reading!
