Who Has Been Unmasked On The Masked Singer Season 5

Okay, folks, let’s dive into the wonderfully weird world of The Masked Singer! Season 5 was a wild ride, wasn't it? So many sequins, so many questionable song choices. And, of course, so many unmaskings!

The Departed Divas (and Dudes)

First up, we had the Snail. Remember him? Underneath that slimy shell was none other than... Kermit the Frog! My jaw dropped. I genuinely thought it was a comedian pretending to be a frog.

A Legendary Start

Then came the Phoenix. Turns out, it was Caitlyn Jenner! Okay, I saw some guesses online, but I still wasn't convinced. Maybe it’s just me.

Next, we said goodbye to the Grandpa Monster. And the face reveal? Lele Pons! Talk about a shock. I'll admit, I had no idea who that was until my niece explained it to me.

The Middle Ground

The Raccoon was unmasked, revealing Danny Trejo. The man, the myth, the legend! I'll admit, that was pretty cool.

Next, the Porcupine. Bobby Brown was the celeb in question. I was really hoping it would have been someone with more range, maybe? My unpopular opinion: The song choices didn’t highlight his talent!

Then we saw the Seashell, who was Tamera Mowry-Housley! A classic. I was glad they were back on TV.

Near the Finish Line

Nick Cannon took a break and Cluedle-Doo was finally unmasked as... Jenny McCarthy's husband, Donnie Wahlberg! A good twist, if you ask me!

The Yeti brought a whole lot of vocal power. The answer: Omarion. While I knew the name, I'm not sure I would have guessed that.

And then there's the Chameleon, who turned out to be Wiz Khalifa! Again, not a shock. I knew his rap style from a mile away.

The Big Reveals

The Black Swan came in second place. The reveal was JoJo! Honestly, amazing vocals. I called it early on.

And finally, the winner! The Piglet! Underneath that adorable snout was Nick Lachey. His performances were solid and had that boy band charm.

My Unpopular Opinion

Here’s the thing. Sometimes, I think the judges know exactly who it is early on. Do they just keep guessing randomly for the sake of entertainment? I’m not sure.

And don’t even get me started on the costumes. Some are amazing! Others... well, let's just say they're memorable for the wrong reasons. I could go on and on, but I think it's time to let it go.

Season 5 had its ups and downs, for sure. Some great singers, some questionable reveals, and a whole lot of sequins. I already know I’ll be back watching with my mouth open for the next one!
