Who Are The 12 Demons In Demon Slayer

Okay, let’s be honest. Demon Slayer has demons. Shocking, right? We're tackling the big question: who are these baddies?

The Not-So-Elite Twelve Kizuki

We're talking about the Twelve Kizuki. These guys are Muzan Kibutsuji's inner circle. Think of them as Muzan's favorite, and most powerful, minions. They're divided into Upper and Lower Ranks. Guess which ones are cooler (and stronger)?

The Upper Ranks: Total Badasses (Mostly)

First up, we got Kokushibo. He's Upper Rank One. Yeah, no big deal, just a demon with six eyes. Seriously though, intimidating.

Then there's Doma, Upper Rank Two. He's...a bit of a weirdo, but undeniably strong. I personally think he's creepy, but maybe that's just me.

Akaza, Upper Rank Three, is next. He's all about the fighting. He has honor, which is a strange trait for a demon, right?

Upper Rank Four is...complicated. It's Hantengu. He splits into multiple forms, each representing a different emotion. Talk about mood swings!

Fifth on the list is Gyokko. He loves pottery and thinks he is an artist. His pots are, uh, unique, let's say. I'm not sure what to think of him, truly.

Finally, Upper Rank Six! This used to be Gyutaro and Daki. They are siblings who fight together. Sibling rivalry with deadly consequences.

The Lower Ranks: Cannon Fodder, Let's Be Real

Alright, Lower Ranks. Let's get through these quickly. Honestly, they're kinda forgettable.

Rui, Lower Rank Five, was the "leader" of the Spider Family. I find him pretty disturbing.

There's Kamanue, Lower Rank Six. Sorry Kamanue, I barely remember you, buddy. He was eliminated early in the series.

Lower Rank Three, Wakuraba, used his Blood Demon Art to teleport. That sounds kinda cool, but he was still a loser.

Then we have Rokuro, Lower Rank Four. Poor guy, another face in the crowd.

Mukago, Lower Rank Two, ran away when things got tough. Not exactly demon material, if you ask me. Talk about a quitter!

And lastly, Enmu, Lower Rank One. He actually stuck around for a bit. I must admit I found him interesting, if a little disturbing. Sleeping demon trains - who comes up with this stuff?!

Unpopular Opinion Time

Okay, here’s my hot take: the Upper Ranks carry the entire Twelve Kizuki. The Lower Ranks were just filler. Don't you agree?

Seriously, some of them were just... there. They exist simply to be beaten. I have a hard time being invested in their arcs.
