When Is The Next Season Of The Ranch

Okay, let's talk The Ranch. Remember that show? With Ashton Kutcher being all… ranchy?
We all have that show we secretly loved, even if it wasn't critically acclaimed. Mine might be The Ranch. Don't judge!
So, About That Next Season...
Let's cut to the chase. Are we getting a new season? Short answer: probably not.
Must Read
Longer answer? Well, let's just say the cows have probably come home for the last time. The show ended back in 2020. It feels like a lifetime ago, right?
Why No More Bennett Family Drama?
Netflix officially wrapped things up after Part 8. Contracts expire, actors move on. You know, the usual Hollywood stuff.
There were also some behind-the-scenes changes. Danny Masterson, who played Rooster, was written out before the final episodes.

That definitely impacted the show's dynamic. Things changed, and the show wasn't quite the same.
My Unpopular The Ranch Opinion
Here's where I get controversial. I actually liked the later seasons of The Ranch! Gasp!
Hear me out! While the first few seasons were funny, the show started tackling some real issues. Family struggles, addiction, loss... it got deep!
Maybe that's why it resonated with me. It wasn't just about beer and football anymore. Although, there was still plenty of that.

What Made It Work (For Me, At Least)
The characters. Flawed, hilarious, and surprisingly relatable. They felt like real people you might actually know.
And the setting! That Colorado landscape was gorgeous. It made me want to move to a ranch. Briefly. Before I remembered I hate manual labor.
Plus, the writing was sharp, even when it was cheesy. There were some genuinely great one-liners.
Still Need Your The Ranch Fix?
Okay, so no new episodes are coming. But you can always rewatch the old ones!

Netflix still has all eight parts. You can relive all the Bennett family chaos whenever you want.
Or, you know, find another show to binge. But will it have Sam Elliott delivering grumpy wisdom? Probably not.
Other Shows To Try
If you liked the family drama, try Parenthood. Prepare for tears. Lots of tears.
For more rural comedy, maybe check out Schitt's Creek. It's quirky and heartwarming.

And if you just want more Ashton Kutcher, there's always That '70s Show. A classic!
Final Thoughts on The Ranch
The Ranch might not be high art. But it was entertaining. And sometimes, that's all you need.
So, while we won't be seeing any new seasons, we can always appreciate what we had. A little bit of heartland humor. And a whole lot of beer.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch the Iron River Ranch episodes. Don't judge me!
