But hear me out! A longer wait could mean more time to craft a killer storyline. A storyline even more explosive than Season Three.

Plus, good things come to those who wait, right? Even if that "good thing" is more 1960s gangster drama.

What We Need in Season Four

More Malcolm X. Need I say more? The dynamic between Malcolm and Bumpy is pure gold.

And can we get some more fleshed-out female characters, please? They're forces to be reckoned with in this world.

Also, just more of that sweet, sweet period detail. The clothes! The cars! I want it all!

I'm really hoping for a deeper dive into the political landscape. More exploration of the civil rights movement within the crime drama. It's a potent mix.

While We Wait: Binge-Watching Options

Okay, the wait is brutal. I get it. Here's my coping strategy: Rewatch everything.

Start from the beginning. Appreciate the details. Notice all the foreshadowing you missed the first time.

Or, find similar shows! Peaky Blinders? Boardwalk Empire? Anything with a good period setting and a healthy dose of morally gray characters.
