When Is The Mike Tyson Movie Coming Out

Okay, let's talk about the elephant in the room. Or, you know, the Iron Mike in the biopic room. When are we finally getting that Mike Tyson movie?
Seriously, it feels like it's been "coming soon" since... well, since Mike was still biting ears. Is it stuck in development hell?
The Biopic Black Hole
Biopics are tricky, right? Especially when your subject is as, shall we say, complex as Mike Tyson. It's not exactly a straightforward "rags to riches" story.
Must Read
We're talking boxing glory, personal struggles, and a whole lot of controversy. Finding the right angle must be a nightmare for filmmakers.
Plus, getting Mike Tyson himself on board is probably key. And that can’t be a walk in the park!
The Jamie Foxx Factor
Remember when Jamie Foxx was supposed to play Tyson? He bulked up! We saw the photos! He looked incredible.

Then... silence. Crickets chirping. Where'd it go? Did the project get knocked out in the first round?
Maybe Jamie Foxx is still secretly training, hoping the phone will ring. I’d certainly watch that movie!
The Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves)
Okay, here's where I might lose some of you. Ready? I'm not entirely sure we need a Mike Tyson movie. There, I said it!

Hear me out! His life has been so public, so intensely scrutinized. Do we really need a dramatized version of events we already know pretty well?
Maybe a fantastic documentary series would be better? Give us the raw, unfiltered truth. No Hollywood gloss.
Other Boxing Legends Begging for a Biopic
While we're waiting (potentially forever) for the Tyson biopic, can we talk about other boxing legends? There are so many stories!
What about Roberto Duran? Or Marvin Hagler? Or even Laila Ali? Those are stories ripe for the big screen.

I’d personally love to see a movie on Muhammad Ali that focuses on a specific period in his life that wasn't shown before. The possibilities are endless!
So, while I'm intrigued by the idea of a Mike Tyson movie, I’m also a little…meh. There are so many other amazing stories out there waiting to be told.
The Verdict (For Now)
The truth is, nobody really knows when (or if) the Mike Tyson movie is coming out. It’s a mystery wrapped in an enigma, inside a boxing glove.

All we can do is wait, hope, and maybe re-watch some old fight footage in the meantime.
And maybe, just maybe, Hollywood will surprise us with a knockout announcement soon. But I'm not holding my breath.
Maybe one day we’ll see Iron Mike on the big screen. But for now, I think I’ll go re-watch The Hangover. It's close enough, right?
Anyone else agree with me? Or am I totally out of the ring on this one?
