When Is American Horror Stories Coming Out 2021

Okay, let's talk American Horror Stories. Specifically, that 2021 season. Remember that one?
Seems like ages ago, right? Like trying to recall what you had for lunch last Tuesday...if last Tuesday was three years ago.
Was It Even 2021? The Timeline is Blurry
Seriously, the pandemic did a number on our sense of time. Did American Horror Stories even exist in 2021?
Must Read
Or was that all a fever dream fueled by too much hand sanitizer and existential dread?
According to my very reliable sources (aka Google), it did. July 15, 2021 to be exact. Mark that in your calendars... retroactively.
Anthology Antics: Love It or... Love It?
American Horror Stories is the anthology spin-off of American Horror Story, of course. Which means a different story each episode.
Some people are obsessed with anthologies. Me? I'm… less so.

Hear me out! It's like speed dating for horror. You barely get to know a character before BAM! They're dead. Or possessed. Or both.
It's a commitment issue, really. I need to bond with my doomed characters, okay?
Give me a whole season to watch them slowly unravel. That's the good stuff!
The Episodes: A Mixed Bag of Terrors
The 2021 season had some... interesting episodes. Remember "Rubber (Wo)man"?
A callback to the original Murder House. Some loved it; some thought it was unnecessary fan service.

Then there was "Drive In." Let's just say it involved a movie and a lot of... well, let's just say "bodily fluids."
Don't even get me started on "Ba'al". Babies, demons, and questionable decisions all around!
Look, I appreciate the effort. But did it live up to the American Horror Story name? Debatable.
An Unpopular Opinion: More Story, Less Stories!
Here's where I get controversial. I think American Horror Story is better when it sticks to one theme for a whole season.
Hear me out! The build-up, the twists, the slow burn of horror. It's like a gourmet meal, not a bunch of horror appetizers.

Maybe I'm just old-fashioned. I like a good narrative arc that doesn't resolve itself in 45 minutes.
An anthology can work, but it needs to be consistently amazing. And let's be honest, not every American Horror Stories episode is a winner.
Some are just... meh. You know, the kind you forget about five minutes after watching.
So, the 2021 season came and went. Did it leave a lasting impression? For some, absolutely. For me? I'm still waiting for that perfect anthology season to blow my mind.
Looking Ahead: What's Next?
Will there be more American Horror Stories in the future? Probably! Ryan Murphy loves to keep us guessing.

Will I watch? Probably! I'm a glutton for punishment... and a sucker for anything with the words "American" and "Horror" in it.
But secretly, I'm hoping for a return to the classic American Horror Story format. One big, juicy, terrifying story to sink my teeth into.
Maybe that's just wishful thinking. But hey, a girl can dream... of nightmares!
What do you think? Am I being too harsh? Or do you agree that sometimes, less stories is actually more?
Let me know in the comments. And try not to be too brutal.
