This Is Us triumphantly returned on Tuesday, March 16th, 2021! Yes, friends, Tuesday nights became Pearson family night once again. Cue the collective sigh of relief!

Remember those long, dark winter nights where we were This Is Us-less? Shudder. Thankfully, those days are behind us. We're back in the warm embrace of flashbacks, flash-forwards, and all the feels!

Why the Wait Felt Like Forever

Seriously, it felt like an eternity, didn't it? I swear I aged approximately 10 Pearson years waiting. Blame it on the pandemic, blame it on the complexities of television production, whatever the reason, we were deprived!

It's like when you order a pizza and the delivery guy gets lost. The anticipation just builds and builds until you're practically gnawing on the furniture. Except instead of pizza, we craved the emotional roller coaster that is This Is Us.

Thankfully, the pizza...er, This Is Us...finally arrived, hot and ready to make us cry! (Happy tears, mostly!)

There's going to be drama, there's going to be romance, and there's going to be tissues. Stock up now! Consider it a preemptive strike against the emotional onslaught.

I predict more of Kevin trying to be a good dad, Kate and Toby navigating their challenges, and Randall continuing his journey of self-discovery. Basically, the usual This Is Us formula that we all know and love!
