That's the question, isn't it? It's the question that haunts us. The question that keeps us refreshing Crunchyroll every five minutes.

Remember when Attack on Titan was just...one season? Ah, simpler times. Now, we're knee-deep in "Final Season" installments that seem to multiply like Titans after a barrel of that weird spinal fluid stuff.

They promised us the "Final Season." Then, came "Final Season Part 2." Now we have "Final Season The Final Chapters (Part 1)". It's like a never-ending rollercoaster, but instead of screaming from fun, we're screaming from anticipation and slight confusion.
Don't get me wrong; I love it. But my calendar is starting to look like a ransom note with all these dates scribbled on it.
Okay, Seriously, Give Me a Date! (Or at Least a Vague Hint)
The internet is awash with theories. From reliable leaks to complete fan fiction (some of which is pretty entertaining, I admit), pinning down an exact release date is like trying to catch Eren in Titan form.
Officially, we know "Final Season The Final Chapters (Part 2)" is coming...sometime. The suspense is definitely building!
My Unpopular Opinion: Let Them Cook! (But Maybe Not Too Long)
Here's where I might get some flak. I think the delays, while frustrating, could be a good thing. Think about it. They are adapting something complex.
MAPPA, the studio animating the final stretch, clearly cares about doing it right. Rushing could lead to a sloppy ending, and nobody wants that.
I am saying, they need all the time they need to do it right. I still want it soon, obviously.
Meanwhile, Back at the Wall...
So, what do we do while we wait? Re-watch the entire series? Absolutely. Read the manga? Maybe. Argue about our favorite characters on Reddit? Inevitable.
Personally, I'm practicing my 3D Maneuver Gear skills. Just in case. You know, in case the Titans decide to show up before the final season does.

The Bottom Line (As Much As There Is One)
Look, nobody really knows the exact date. Except maybe someone at MAPPA who's sworn to secrecy by Mikasa herself.
But we can be reasonably sure it's coming... eventually. And until then, we'll just have to be patient (or pretend to be, at least).
And maybe, just maybe, they'll surprise us with a date drop out of nowhere. One can only hope!
