Okay, let's be real. Are we all secretly (or not so secretly) wondering when Suicide Squad is coming back to HBO Max? I mean, the good one, the one that actually made us laugh.
Don't get me wrong. I appreciate the artistic vision and all that jazz. But sometimes, you just need a dose of Harley Quinn doing Harley Quinn things, you know?

It feels like these movies jump around streaming services more than I change my socks. And I really need to do laundry.

One day they're there, the next they're gone. Poof! Vanished into the digital ether, leaving us with just our memories (and maybe a slightly overpriced action figure).
Seriously, where do these movies go? Do they retire to a sunny island, sipping piña coladas and reflecting on their box office numbers? Asking for a friend (that friend is me).

Brace yourselves, because I'm about to drop a truth bomb. I actually liked The Suicide Squad. Yes, the one with the starfish. Don't @ me.
It was chaotic, ridiculous, and gloriously over-the-top. Exactly what I want from a movie about a team of supervillains forced to do good (or at least, less bad) things.
But here's the thing: I miss the original's campy charm. The slightly awkward, trying-too-hard-to-be-cool vibe. It had a certain…je ne sais quoi.
The Search Begins (Again)
So, back to the burning question: When can we expect Suicide Squad to grace our HBO Max screens once more? The internet, as always, is a mixed bag of speculation and wishful thinking.
Some say it depends on licensing agreements. Others claim it's all part of some grand Warner Bros. Discovery master plan. I'm leaning towards the lizard people theory myself.
In the meantime, I guess we'll just have to keep refreshing the "Coming Soon" section and praying to the streaming gods.

Seriously, what are we supposed to do while we wait? Rewatch Peacemaker for the tenth time? (Okay, maybe.)
Or maybe, just maybe, it's time to branch out and discover some new cinematic treasures. But let's be honest, we'll probably just end up scrolling through endless options until we give up and watch Friends again.

Dear HBO Max overlords, if you're reading this (and I'm sure you are), please hear our cries. Bring back Suicide Squad!
We promise to watch it responsibly (or irresponsibly, depending on the day). We'll even write you a thank-you note. Maybe.
Just give the people what they want: more Harley Quinn, more Deadshot, and more chaotic, supervillain-y goodness. Thank you in advance!
