When Does Batman The Long Halloween Part 2 Come Out

Okay, let's be real. We all went a little batty waiting for The Long Halloween, Part Two. Remember how we were all refreshing the internet every five minutes?
It was like waiting for Christmas, but instead of presents, we got Batman dealing with holiday-themed crime. Much better, right?
The Great Wait: When Did It Actually Drop?
So, the big question: when did we finally get our hands on The Long Halloween, Part Two? Drumroll, please….
Must Read
It landed on July 27, 2021. Yes, mark your calendars! A day that will live in infamy...or at least, a day you can impress your friends with your Batman trivia.
Some of us (okay, maybe just me) might have pre-ordered it. I was so excited. It was justified, okay?!
But Was It Worth the Hype? My Hot Take
Here’s where things get spicy. Here's my totally unpopular opinion.
It was...pretty good! I wasn’t blown away. Now, before you throw your batarangs at me, hear me out.

The animation was great, the voice acting was solid, and the story… Well, we all know the story, right? But something felt… missing.
Maybe it was the pressure. So much hype, so much anticipation. I just needed something else!
The first part might have been slightly better. There I said it.
I think that the voice actor of Batman wasn’t doing it for me in the long term. It kind of felt like a dollar store Batman.
Did You Agree With Me? (Probably Not)
Look, I get it. The Long Halloween is a classic. Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale are legends.

The source material is amazing! I have nothing bad to say about the comic series!.
And the animated adaptation did a decent job of bringing it to life. But did it reach the stratospheric heights of my expectations? Not quite.
Maybe I built it up too much in my head. Maybe I needed more Calendar Man (unpopular opinion number two!).
Don't take me seriously! I know how much you love The Long Halloween, Part Two. This is all just playful banter, you know?

Besides, even a slightly disappointing Batman movie is still better than no Batman movie at all. We can all agree on that, right?
So, What's Next? More Animated Goodness?
While we’re here, let's talk about future animated Batman movies.
What stories are you dying to see adapted? Hush? Under the Red Hood (again!)?.
I personally would like to see another adaption of The Dark Knight Returns!
Let's just hope the wait isn't as long as it was for The Long Halloween, Part Two. My sanity can't handle it.

And if they do adapt it, please, DC, no dollar-store Batman voice acting!
All in all, The Long Halloween, Part Two came out on July 27, 2021. Hopefully, that will be the end of your questions about it!
We now get to enjoy the animated movie, so it's a win overall!
But was the hype worth it? That is for you to decide. I did not think it was, but I am a tough critic!
