But honestly, does it even matter that much? I mean, a Gallagher is a Gallagher, no matter when they're on TV. Chaos is timeless.

My Unpopular Shameless Opinion

Now, prepare yourselves. I'm about to drop a truth bomb. An unpopular opinion, perhaps.

I kind of liked season six. Okay, gasp! I said it. Don't get me wrong, every season has its flaws.

But something about the storylines that year really grabbed me. Maybe it was the drama, maybe it was the questionable decisions (as always), maybe I was just bored.

What Was So Great About It?

Specifically, I enjoyed seeing the kids (well, teens/young adults) finding their own way. Fiona trying to be a responsible adult was... well, attempted. We can't fault her for trying!

Lip was struggling with his demons, like always. Carl was out there doing Carl things. Total madness.

Debbie was well... being Debbie. No comment on that one. She can be a bit... much.

Let's Be Honest...

Let's be real, Shameless wasn't always consistent. Some seasons were pure gold. Others... not so much.

But even the "bad" seasons had moments of brilliance. Moments of pure Gallagher genius. Or insanity. Whatever you want to call it.

The show never shied away from the dark side of life. It's what made it so compelling. And so wildly popular!
