What We Do In The Shadows Season 3 Episode 7

Okay, let's talk What We Do In The Shadows, Season 3, Episode 7. It's the one where they become addicted to a wellness cult. Honestly, I have some thoughts.
First off, is it just me, or was this episode... kinda underrated? Everyone always raves about the bigger storylines. But this one had me cracking up.
Wellness Cults and Vampire Nonsense
The whole wellness cult thing was just so spot-on. All the jargon, the chanting, the juice cleanses… We've all seen it, right? Maybe even been tempted?
Must Read
And of course, the vampires fall for it hook, line, and sinker. Nadja especially. She's always searching for something "more."
I loved how easily they were manipulated. Like, they’re ancient, powerful beings. But a few affirmations and some weird yoga poses and they're goners.
Nadja's Transformation (or Lack Thereof)
Nadja really shined in this episode. Her commitment to the wellness cult was hilarious.
She was so sure she was "evolving." Spoiler alert: she wasn't. But she tried.

And the whole thing with the guru being totally fake? Chef's kiss.
It was the perfect commentary on the wellness industry. So much of it is just smoke and mirrors.
I also loved the side plot with Laszlo and his garden. Always with the garden.
It's so wholesome and ridiculous. It’s the perfect Laszlo quirk.

My Unpopular Opinion
Here's where I might lose some of you. I think this is one of the strongest episodes of Season 3.
Yes, I said it! It may not be the flashiest. It may not have the biggest plot twists.
But it's just consistently funny. The writing is sharp. The performances are great.
It highlights what I love most about the show: the blend of the supernatural and the mundane. Vampires dealing with everyday problems, like cults and boring meetings.
"We are all just energy, my friends!" - Wellness Guru, probably
The episode just nailed the satire of the modern wellness craze.

Like, let’s be real: How many times have you seen someone try to "manifest" something? Or cleanse their aura?
The vampires just took it to the extreme. Because that's what they do.
Little Moments That Made Me Laugh
There were so many little moments that stood out. Guillermo's eye rolls at the cult activities were classic. He is so over it.
Nandor's brief interest in meditation. Followed by his immediate boredom and frustration.

Colin Robinson feeding off the cult members' desperation and anxieties. Peak Colin Robinson.
It's all just so well-observed and delivered with perfect comedic timing.
Final Thoughts
So, yeah, What We Do In The Shadows Season 3, Episode 7. A hilarious exploration of wellness cults.
Maybe not the most groundbreaking episode. But definitely one of the funniest.
Don't @ me. I stand by my opinion. It's a gem. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go try to manifest a million dollars. Namaste.
