What We Do In The Shadows Season 3 Ep 7

The Wellness Cult & Nandor's Existential Crisis
Season 3, episode 7 of What We Do in the Shadows throws the Staten Island vampires headfirst into the world of wellness… with hilarious results. Get ready for some serious navel-gazing, both literally and figuratively.
Nadja Joins a Wellness Cult
Nadja, always on the lookout for new and exciting experiences (or, you know, just something to do), stumbles upon a wellness cult. This isn't your average yoga retreat. Oh no, this is a place where they suck the toxins out of your body using leeches and tell you to scream into jars.
Natasia Demetriou's portrayal of Nadja trying to maintain her sophisticated vampire demeanor amidst the utter ridiculousness is gold. You just know she's judging everyone, even as she participates with gusto.
Must Read
The best part? The cult leader is obsessed with her, constantly hitting on her, thinking she's just playing hard to get. He's completely oblivious to the fact she is a literal vampire. It's classic Shadows humor.
Nandor's Search for Meaning
Meanwhile, Nandor is having a bit of an existential crisis. He feels listless and unfulfilled, despite being the leader of the vampires. He's tried everything: conquering nations (been there, done that), accumulating wealth (meh), and even dating (disaster!).

His solution? To find his one true love. But not just any love. He decides he needs to find all the women he's ever loved throughout his ridiculously long lifespan and see if maybe, just maybe, one of them is still alive and waiting.
Guillermo's Undying Loyalty (and Annoyance)
This is where Guillermo, our favorite vampire familiar, comes in. Guillermo is tasked with the monumental effort of tracking down Nandor's many, many past loves. He is less than thrilled.

The dynamic between Nandor and Guillermo is always a highlight of the show. Nandor's oblivious self-absorption clashes perfectly with Guillermo's long-suffering devotion. You can practically see the eye-rolls behind Guillermo's perpetually weary gaze.
Colin Robinson's…Help?
Colin Robinson, ever the oddball, attempts to help Nandor by using his energy-sucking powers to... well, it's not entirely clear what he's doing, but it involves a lot of droning and a whole lot of boredom. It's safe to say it doesn't help.

The scene is hilarious, because Colin Robinson's "help" just makes everything worse, adding to Nandor's frustration and Guillermo's already overflowing plate. It's a perfect example of how the show uses mundane situations to create absurd comedy.
A Heartwarming (and Bloody) Ending
In the end, Nandor's quest for love is… well, complicated. He does manage to find some of his former flames, but let's just say the reunions don't go exactly as planned. Expect some unexpected twists and turns, and maybe even a little bit of bloodshed.

But amidst all the chaos, there's a surprisingly heartwarming moment between Nandor and Guillermo. It's a reminder that even in a show about vampires, there's always room for genuine connection and loyalty. Also, more leech humor.
Overall, episode 7 is a classic What We Do in the Shadows episode. It's funny, absurd, and surprisingly heartwarming, all wrapped up in a neat little package of vampire shenanigans. Definitely a must-watch!
