What We Do In The Shadows Movie Trailer

Okay, Let's Talk About That What We Do in the Shadows Trailer
Remember when the What We Do in the Shadows movie trailer dropped? I do. Vividly.
And... well, maybe I'm alone here. But I have some thoughts. Some potentially controversial thoughts.
Unpopular Opinion Alert: It Was...Fine?
Don't get me wrong. I love What We Do in the Shadows. The show? Genius.
Must Read
But the movie trailer? It felt...like a collection of bits. Funny bits, sure.
Just not...trailer bits. Anyone else feel this way?
Nandor's Perpetual Annoyance: Relatable AF
Let's be honest, Nandor (played brilliantly by Kayvan Novak) is the best part. Change my mind.
His exasperation with everyone? Peak comedy. We've all been there.

That tiny snippet of him being completely over it? Gold. Pure gold.
The Costumes: Always on Point
The one thing the trailer absolutely nailed? The costumes. Flawless.
Those ridiculously opulent, slightly dusty outfits? Chef's kiss. They are vampires.
They should look like they're auditioning for a gothic opera after raiding a thrift store. Check and check.
Colin Robinson: Still the Most Terrifying Vampire
Colin Robinson. Just... shivers. Energy vampires are the real monsters.

Seriously, the boredom is a weapon. Forget stakes, give me an interesting conversation.
Or, you know, don't. Just leave me alone, Colin.
Guillermo: The Unsung Hero (Probably Still Unsung)
Poor Guillermo. Always the familiar, never the vampire. A tragic tale.
He deserves a raise. And maybe a day off. Or five.
Hopefully, the movie gives him some much-needed wins. Though, realistically? Probably not.

Did It Sell Me On The Movie? Honestly...
Here's the thing. The trailer didn't need to sell me. I was already sold. Hook, line, and sinker.
I'm a What We Do in the Shadows devotee. I'd watch them read a phone book.
But... was it the best trailer ever? Nah. Fun, though. Very fun.
My Verdict?
The trailer was good. Not great. Good.
But the movie? I have high hopes. Untouchable high hopes.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to rewatch the entire series. For research, of course.
And maybe, just maybe, I'll finally figure out what Nandor's favorite type of dirt is.
Because that's the kind of important information a dedicated fan needs to know!
What are your thoughts on the trailer? Let me know below!
Maybe you agree with me. Or maybe I'm completely off my rocker. Either way, let's chat!
