Seriously, is it? My snacks are ready. The comfy pants are on. I'm basically a human football-watching machine. But what time does the National Championship even start tonight?

It's like a national secret. Or maybe I'm just directionally challenged when it comes to schedules. Either way, I need answers! Before I start eating all the chips.

Plus, imagine the kids! Staying up that late? They'll be bouncing off the walls. Or, more likely, asleep on the couch by halftime.

The Agony of Waiting

The hours leading up to kickoff are pure torture. What do you even do with yourself?

I usually end up pacing. And refreshing Twitter every five seconds. Gotta get that pre-game analysis, you know?

It's like being a kid on Christmas Eve. Except instead of presents, you get bone-crunching tackles and questionable referee calls. Almost the same thing, really.

The Commercial Break Dilemma

And don't even get me started on the commercials! They're endless. Sometimes I think they're longer than the actual game.

I understand, companies need to advertise. But can't they at least make them entertaining? Less insurance ads, more puppies, please!

Maybe I should just mute the TV during the breaks. But then I'd miss the hilarious commentary on Twitter. It's a vicious cycle!

My Bold Prediction (Don't Quote Me On This)

Okay, time for a completely unqualified prediction. I think Team Awesome is going to win! (Note: Team Awesome may or may not exist).

Why? Because they have heart! And good uniforms. And a slightly better chance of scoring more points than the other team. That's my expert analysis.

But seriously, anything can happen in football. That's why we watch, right? For the unexpected moments of glory (and the heartbreaking interceptions).

The Post-Game Blues

Regardless of who wins, the end of the National Championship is always a little sad. It signals the end of football season. Cue the tears.

What am I supposed to do on Saturdays now? Mow the lawn? Spend time with my family? The horror!

But hey, there's always next year. And the endless anticipation of kickoff. And the struggle to stay awake past halftime. The cycle continues!
