What Season Does Tara Die On Sons Of Anarchy

Okay, let's talk Sons of Anarchy. We all remember that scene, right? The one that emotionally scarred us all? Yep, we're talking about Tara Knowles's exit.
So, When Did It Happen?
It was Season 7. More specifically, episode 11. "Suits of Woe". Need a moment? I understand. Deep breaths.
But here's where things get interesting. I have a controversial opinion. It's about when this really happened.
Must Read
Hear Me Out: It Was Basically Fall.
Okay, okay, before you throw your club patches at me, let's think about it. Season 7 aired in the fall. October to December, to be exact.
TV seasons are kinda like real seasons, right? The mood was definitely autumnal. Dark, brooding, leaves changing... Okay, maybe not leaves. But metaphorical leaves!
The whole vibe of season 7 felt like pumpkin spice lattes and impending doom. Cozy sweaters of existential dread. Agree?

Why This Matters (Sort Of)
It doesn't, really. Except that it does in my head. It's like how you associate certain songs with certain times of your life.
I always think of cold weather when I think of that episode. Bundling up inside while chaos reigns in Charming.
Maybe it's because I first watched it during a particularly gloomy November. Blame my subconscious, not me!

Unpopular Opinion Alert!
I know what you're thinking. "It's just a TV show, get over it!" You're probably right. But some things just stick with you, don't they?
And for me, Tara's fate is inextricably linked to the feeling of fall. Crunchy leaves, the smell of woodsmoke, and the crushing weight of dramatic irony.
Besides, fictional character deaths always feel more tragic in the darker months. Am I alone on this?
Let's Recap (and Cry a Little)
So, while technically Tara died in Season 7, episode 11. In my heart, it was fall. A dark, depressing fall.

I am now accepting applications for my support group: "People Still Not Over Sons of Anarchy Deaths". We meet every Tuesday and sob into our vests. Jk.
Feel free to disagree. But deep down, you know I'm at least a little bit right. It just felt like fall.
So, the next time you're carving pumpkins and feel a sudden wave of sadness, you'll know why. Blame Gemma. And maybe a little bit the changing seasons.

Don't forget to share your feelings in the comments below! Or don't. I understand if you need to go scream into a pillow.
May Jax forgive me for even bringing this up. It's all for the laughs... right?
Okay, I'm done. I need a drink. Preferably something strong. And maybe a hug.
I need to go watch something cheerful now. Like a puppy playdate. Or maybe just stare at a wall. Bye.
