What Is The Newest Rick And Morty Season

Morty's Grown Up (Maybe?) and My Hot Take on Rick and Morty Season 7
Okay, so Rick and Morty Season 7 is here. We're all watching, right? New voices, new adventures, same existential dread. But let's be honest, something feels…different.
Mostly, I think Morty is changing. He seems less…Morty-ish? Is it just me?
Morty's Evolving (Or Are We Just Getting Old?)
Hear me out. Remember when Morty was basically just Rick's punching bag? The naive, easily traumatized sidekick? Now, he occasionally makes decent points. Like, almost Rick-level insights.
Must Read
Don’t get me wrong, I love the classic Morty. But maybe this new Morty isn't so bad either. A little less reliant, a little more self-aware. Is that a bad thing?
This is my unpopular opinion: I kind of dig it. A Morty that is not a full-blown idiot is... refreshing!
Rick's Still Rick (Thank Goodness)
Don’t worry, Rick is still Rick. Burping, belittling, and generally causing chaos. He's the constant we need in this ever-changing multiverse.

Though even Rick seems a tad… different. Maybe it's the lack of Justin Roiland, maybe it is just the writers, but he's lost a certain edge. Still, he's out there drinking and creating a mess for everyone.
I'm not saying I miss the darkness. But a little more nihilistic ranting would be appreciated. Just saying.
The Jokes Are Still Flying (Mostly)
The humor's still there. Some episodes are laugh-out-loud hilarious. Some... not so much. I think it's about what you expect.

There are the meta jokes, the pop culture references, the completely absurd situations. You know, the usual Rick and Morty stuff.
The writing hasn't been as consistent as previous seasons. But when it hits, it hits hard. Like, "rewatch it five times" hard.
The Animation is Crisper Than Ever
Visually, the show is stunning. The animation quality has gone through the roof. Each planet, each alien, each ridiculous invention is beautifully rendered.
Seriously, pause an episode sometime and just appreciate the detail. Someone put some serious work into this!

The animators really stepped up. The visuals are top-notch and help sell even the weaker storylines.
So, Is Season 7 Any Good?
That's the million-dollar question, isn't it? Honestly, it's a mixed bag. Some episodes are instant classics. Others are…skippable.
But even the weaker episodes have moments of brilliance. A great line, a clever visual gag, a surprisingly poignant moment of character development. (Especially for Morty).

Overall, I'd say it's worth watching. Even if just to see Rick and Morty get into increasingly bizarre situations. What would you expect from Rick and Morty anyway?
Final Thoughts: Give It a Chance!
Don't go in expecting Season 3 levels of perfection. Just relax, embrace the weirdness, and enjoy the ride.
After all, isn't that what Rick and Morty is all about? Imperfect, messy, and occasionally brilliant?
So, buckle up, butter your toast, and get ready for another season of interdimensional adventures. And remember, wubba lubba dub dub! (Even if Rick's voice is slightly different.)
