He'll Try (and Fail?) to Go Legit

Tariq always says he wants out. He wants a normal life. But does he really? I doubt it. The "normal life" train left the station a long time ago. Maybe back when his dad was still alive?

Honestly, his version of "legit" probably involves creative accounting and a vaguely illegal business scheme. Normal life is boring and Tariq is anything but that.

Unpopular Opinion: He's Low-Key Smarter Than Ghost

Okay, hear me out. Ghost was smart, don't get me wrong. But he was also emotionally driven and prone to making rash decisions. Tariq, while annoying, is coldly calculating. Ghost would react, Tariq will probably plan ten steps ahead.

Maybe this is just Stockholm Syndrome talking, but I think Tariq has learned from his father's mistakes. He knows how to manipulate people... probably better than Ghost ever did.

He'll Juggle Multiple Love Interests (Because Why Not?)

Let's face it. Tariq's love life is a mess. He's got more baggage than a Kardashian on vacation. Does he even know what he want from love? Or is it all just part of a strategic game?

Expect more romantic entanglements, more awkward moments, and probably another love triangle that ends in tears (and possibly a shooting). It is what it is.

He'll Eventually Have to Face the Music for His Crimes

At some point, Tariq's luck has to run out, right? He can't just keep getting away with everything forever. Maybe he'll face jail time? Maybe he will turn into a government informant?

The suspense is definitely killing us. Hopefully, the writers have something truly twisted and unexpected planned. A nice change of pace is always a good idea.

Final Prediction: He Won't Die (Yet)

Here's my boldest prediction. Tariq will survive this season. He's too valuable to kill off. Plus, the show is called Power Book II: Ghost, and that's what it is about. It is highly unlikely that the ghost will disappear any time soon.
