Think about it. He's been protecting Naruto and the world for a long time. Even ninjas need a vacation!
Perhaps he's on a remote island. Sipping coconut juice. Finally perfecting that perfect rhyme about… coconuts!
He Deserves a Break!
Seriously, the guy's earned it. He puts up with Naruto's antics. He saved the world multiple times. That level of patience deserves a gold medal, not just a cameo in Boruto!
Maybe he’ll return. Maybe he'll drop a surprise verse in a future episode. Maybe he opens a takoyaki stand.
