Okay, here it comes. I think their fight is…slightly overrated. Don’t get me wrong. It’s beautifully animated. The music is epic.
The emotional weight is there. But sometimes, I feel like the fandom focuses on this fight so much, it overshadows other amazing battles in Naruto. Am I alone here?
Maybe it’s just me. Maybe I’m secretly a robot incapable of feeling emotions. But I stand by my opinion! (For now).
Let's Be Real, Though...
Despite my "overrated" comment, the Kakashi and Obito fight is important. It showcases their tragic backstory. It reveals Obito's descent into darkness.
It makes Kakashi question everything. Plus, the animation is top-notch. So, I can see why people love it. I just…don’t worship it as much.
Think of it as the Naruto equivalent of a popular song. Everyone loves it. You know it's good. But you've heard it so many times you're slightly tired of it.
