What Day And Time Is Super Bowl 2020

Okay, let's talk Super Bowl 2020. Remember that year? Feels like ages ago, doesn't it?
You're probably here because you vaguely recall a party and some questionable snack choices. Maybe a missed field goal that still haunts your dreams.
So, When Did All The Glory (Or Heartbreak) Go Down?
The big game was on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020. Mark it in your (digital) calendars! Or, you know, just remember it happened before everything else in 2020 happened.
Must Read
It kicked off at approximately 6:30 PM Eastern Time. That's prime pizza-ordering time, people! And the perfect moment to strategically position yourself for optimal snack access.
A Time Zone Tango
Of course, not everyone lives in the Eastern Time Zone. West Coasters had to wait until 3:30 PM. Patience is a virtue, especially when chips and dip are involved.
For those in the Central Time Zone, it was a comfy 5:30 PM start. Just enough time to finish your Sunday afternoon nap.

Mountain Time folks got things rolling at 4:30 PM. Plenty of daylight left for victory celebrations (or sorrowful commiserations).
The Halftime Hysteria
Ah, the halftime show. Remember Jennifer Lopez and Shakira tearing up the stage?
That spectacle usually hits around 8:00 PM ET. Give or take a few minutes, depending on penalties and excessive commercial breaks.
Speaking of commercials, anyone else think some of those were better than the actual game? Just me? Okay, moving on.

An Unpopular Opinion (Maybe?)
Here's my hot take: halftime shows are often way more exciting than the football itself. Don't @ me!
Seriously, all that glitter and those catchy tunes? It’s hard to compete with that. Especially if your team is getting trounced.
I'm not saying I don't appreciate a good touchdown. But a perfectly choreographed dance routine? Chef's kiss!

The Final Whistle
The game usually wraps up around 10:00 PM ET. Give or take, again depending on… well, everything.
By that point, you’re either celebrating a win or drowning your sorrows in leftover wings. Either way, it's a Sunday night well spent (or at least, endured).
And then Monday rolls around, and you have to pretend you weren't screaming at the TV the night before. Adulting is hard.
The Aftermath: A Day of Regret (And Leftovers)
Let's be honest, Super Bowl Monday is basically a national holiday. A holiday dedicated to nursing hangovers and regretting questionable food choices.

But hey, at least you have leftovers! Cold pizza never tasted so good (or so necessary).
So, to recap: February 2nd, 2020, 6:30 PM ET. Now you can impress your friends with your trivial knowledge. You're welcome.
And remember, even if your team lost, there's always next year. Unless your team is the Cleveland Browns. Just kidding! (Maybe.)
Just kidding (mostly)! Now go forth and spread the knowledge. Or, you know, just watch cat videos. Whatever floats your boat.
