What Comes After Season 1 Of Demon Slayer

Okay, let's talk Demon Slayer. Season 1 was awesome, right? But what comes next is where things get… interesting.
Mugen Train: A Really Long Episode?
First, we got Mugen Train. It was technically a movie, then chopped into episodes.
Honestly, it felt like a super-sized episode of Season 1. Don't get me wrong, it was good! But did it really need to be a movie?

My Unpopular Opinion
Here's my hot take: Mugen Train could have been an amazing five-episode arc. Boom! Problem solved.
Imagine that buildup! Each episode ending on a cliffhanger. Think of the suspense!
Instead, we got… well, a really long train ride. Great animation though!
Entertainment District: Flashy, but…
Next up is the Entertainment District Arc. Super flashy! Lots of action!

But, did anyone else feel like it dragged a little? The fight scenes were epic, yes. But also… really, really long.
Plus, the whole infiltrating-the-district thing felt a bit repetitive. Dress up, investigate, fight, repeat.
Another Unpopular Opinion
I'm just saying, a bit more plot development outside the battles would have been nice. We needed more character development!
We needed something that makes the characters feel more real!

Swordsmith Village: Time to Craft Some... Issues?
Then there’s the Swordsmith Village Arc. New swords, new demons, new… questions?
This arc felt like a bridge between bigger things. Don't get me wrong, it looked beautiful.
But I am not sure if it made up to what's after Entertainment District!
You Guessed It: Another Unpopular Opinion
Honestly, this felt like the weakest arc so far. Great to learn a bit about the swordsmiths but overall was a weak arc in the anime adaptation.

Maybe it's just setting things up for the future, but as a standalone arc? Eh.
So, What’s My Point?
Look, I love Demon Slayer. I do! Tanjiro's the best, Nezuko is adorable.
But sometimes, I feel like the series gets a little too focused on the visuals. This takes away from the substance.
And I wonder what it can bring in the future!

The Future of Demon Slaying
Don't get me wrong. The next season could be the best one yet!
I am still watching to see where Demon Slayer will go. I am ready to be proven wrong!
But for now, I'm just hoping for a bit more meat on those beautifully rendered bones.
Maybe it's just me. What do you think?
