For me, the show peaked with the Christmas episode. Remember Gojo gifting Marin that awesome hair clip?
That scene. The snow. The feels. It was perfect. A beautiful, heartwarming, almost-kiss moment.
Seriously, it wrapped up their budding romance so nicely. It felt like a natural conclusion, almost like a Season 1 finale should.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the cosplay competition arc. I loved seeing Marin's dedication to her characters. And Gojo's growth as a craftsman was inspiring.
But the tension? The will-they-won't-they? It kind of fizzled after Christmas, didn't it?
The later chapters felt more… episodic. Cute, fun, but lacking that initial spark.
Maybe it's just me being a hopeless romantic. Maybe I just wanted them to confess already!
