Beam Me Up... But Where's the Remote?

Okay, let's be real. Finding Star Trek: Discovery can feel like navigating a black hole. It's not always as simple as tuning into channel 1701. Is it me, or do streaming services play hide-and-seek with our favorite shows?

The Streaming Saga

For a while, it was on CBS All Access. Remember that? That was the before times. Now it's been rebranded as Paramount+. It's like they're constantly changing uniforms on the bridge!

You'd think finding it there would be simple, right? Nope! Sometimes it feels like Paramount+ is only discoverable if you already have it. It can be confusing. But trust me, Discovery is still orbiting somewhere in that streaming galaxy.

International Adventures

If you're outside the US, the picture gets even more complicated. It bounces around different services depending on your country. Canada has it easy, but Europe sometimes feels like its stuck in a temporal anomaly.

For many, it's on Netflix. Ironic, isn't it? The service we all know and love actually has one of the newer Star Trek shows. Go figure!

My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves!)

Here's where I might lose some of you. Ready? I think the constant platform hopping kinda hurts Discovery. Yeah, I said it.

Think about it: It creates a barrier to entry. Folks get confused, frustrated, and then just binge something else. It's a shame because the show has some pretty cool moments.

The Search for Simplicity

Wouldn't it be amazing if all Star Trek shows lived in one easily accessible place? One single service to rule them all. A simple click and boom! Space exploration at your fingertips.

I'm dreaming of a unified Star Trek Universe streaming service. Is that too much to ask? Probably. But a girl can dream of a future where finding Discovery doesn't require a PhD in streaming subscriptions.

A Call to Action (Sort Of)

So, where is Discovery? It depends! Check Paramount+, Netflix, or your local streaming listings. Good luck! And may the Force... I mean, may the odds be ever in your favor.

In the meantime, let's collectively manifest a simpler streaming future. Maybe one day, finding our favorite shows will be as easy as ordering pizza. Engage!

"Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of finding Star Trek: Discovery. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new platforms, to seek out new subscriptions and new civilizations, to boldly go where no remote has gone before!"

P.S. Don't even get me started on where to find Picard. That's a whole other wormhole for another day.
