Welcome To Plathville Season 3 Episode 3

Okay, let's talk Welcome to Plathville Season 3, Episode 3. Remember that one? So much happened!
Specifically, let's dive into some things that, maybe, not everyone agrees with me on.
Ethan and Olivia: Communication...Challenges?
Ethan and Olivia. Sigh. Are they ever truly on the same page? It feels like they're speaking different languages sometimes.
Must Read
It seems the constant arguing about Ethan's family is never ending. Poor Ethan is stuck in the middle.
Maybe they both need a vacation...far, far away from Cairo, Georgia!
My Unpopular Opinion #1: Olivia Needs to Chill (Just a Little)
Here it comes: my unpopular opinion! Olivia, I love you, but sometimes you need to take a breath.
I get it, the Plath family dynamic is... intense. But constantly pushing Ethan to cut them off completely?
It's like, give the guy a chance to navigate his own family. He's trying!

Is it really a healthy relationship when one person constantly dictates the terms of engagement with the other person's relatives? I'm just asking questions!
Micah: The Heartthrob and His Newfound Freedom
Micah is definitely living his best life. He's out there, modeling, meeting people, and just generally radiating good vibes.
I honestly don't blame him for wanting to explore. The guy was raised on a farm with limited access to the outside world!
He's making up for lost time, and who can fault him for that?
My Unpopular Opinion #2: Micah is... Kinda Bland?
Okay, hear me out. Micah is undeniably handsome. But personality-wise?
He seems like a genuinely nice guy, but also a little... vanilla. Is that too harsh?

Maybe he's just being cautious and not showing his full personality on camera.
I hope to see him develop more. I am curious about his journey, because he is now in a different environment.
Moriah: Finding Her Voice (and Style)
Moriah is definitely coming into her own. She's exploring her style and expressing herself through music.
Good for her! She really deserves to be herself! From the look of her parents, Moriah needs a lot of strength to deal with them.
She's got a fire in her, and I'm excited to see where it takes her. She also has a great boyfriend!

My Unpopular Opinion #3: Her Relationship Seems a Little...Fast?
Moriah and Max seemed to have fallen head over heels quickly, in my opinion. Their relationship seems to progress faster than any relationship that I know of.
I'm not saying they're not in love, but maybe pump the brakes just a tad?
She is quite young and needs to find herself as an individual first.
Young love can be tricky, and I just hope they're both being realistic about their future together.
Kim and Barry: Still Controlling?
Kim and Barry are...well, they're Kim and Barry. Are they really trying to change?
I'm not entirely convinced. It feels like they're still subtly manipulating things behind the scenes.

Will they ever truly let their kids be independent? I highly doubt it.
My Unpopular Opinion #4: Barry Might Be More Likable Than Kim
Okay, this might be the most controversial one yet. Barry, dare I say, is almost... sympathetic?
He seems genuinely confused and hurt by the way things have turned out.
I think he has more emotion and is more willing to try to understand his children. Kim seems very cold at times.
Maybe it's just the editing, but I see a flicker of genuine care in his eyes. A flicker! Don't come for me!
Overall, Season 3, Episode 3 was a rollercoaster of emotions and family drama. I am looking forward to the next episode!
