Welcome To Demon School Iruma Kun Season 2 Episode 22

Okay, folks, let’s talk Iruma-kun. Specifically, season 2 episode 22. Did anyone else find it… surprisingly chill? I know, I know. Blasphemy, right?
Everyone's all about the epic battles and the demon shenanigans. And trust me, I'm here for that too! But sometimes, a little breather is nice.
We got a whole lotta heart in this episode. Let's not forget the character development!
Must Read
The Charm Offensive
Okay, so maybe "chill" is an understatement. Things did get pretty intense with Iruma's training. And the Misfit Class is always up to some trouble!
Remember when Kalego-sensei actually cracked a smile? Okay, maybe a grimace that looked like a smile. But still! Progress!
I think he's finally starting to accept the chaos. Though, I doubt he'd ever admit it. Bless his grumpy little heart.

The Unsung Heroes
For me, the real MVP of the episode was Clara. She's a bundle of chaotic energy. Also, she has a heart of gold!
The way she supports Iruma is just adorable. She's always there with a hug, or a weird snack, or both.
And can we talk about Asmodeus? Always so loyal. His dedication is kind of terrifying, but also… endearing?
He's like a golden retriever, but make it demon. And super powerful.

A Controversial Opinion (Maybe?)
Okay, brace yourselves. Here it comes: I actually enjoyed the slower pace. Sometimes, too much action can be overwhelming!
This episode gave us a chance to really appreciate the characters. It reminded us why we love them in the first place.
I think that it was important to build some anticipation for the next arc. We need some of those quieter episodes to appreciate the more chaotic ones.
Food, Glorious Food!
Seriously, someone needs to open a Babyls-themed restaurant. All those demon dishes look amazing!

I'd risk getting turned into a newt just to try some of Opera's cooking. If they're willing to share. Or, you know, not murder me.
I also wanted to try some Clara's snacks. They are likely to explode or something.
In Conclusion: More Please!
Look, I'm not saying season 2 episode 22 was perfect. But it was a solid episode with some funny moments and heartwarming scenes. It was a reminder of why the series is so beloved.
And honestly, a little slice-of-demon-life is always welcome. Especially when it involves Iruma being adorably oblivious.

So, yeah, maybe I'm alone in this. Maybe everyone else was expecting more epic battles and demon lords. But I appreciated the breather. And I can't wait to see what happens next!
What are your thoughts? Am I crazy, or did anyone else enjoy this episode as much as I did?
Let me know in the comments below! (If there were comments, that is.)
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to find a recipe for "demon stew." Wish me luck!
