Okay, let's talk Watch What We Do In The Shadows, Season 3. It's a wild ride, isn't it? Full of vampire silliness, as usual.

Is Season 3 Underrated? My Slightly Controversial Take

Here's the thing. Everyone seems to love the first two seasons, and rightly so. But Season 3? It feels like people gloss over it. I think it's time we give it some more love.

Maybe it's just me. Maybe my vampire-loving heart is easily swayed. But I genuinely enjoyed it. I found some episodes absolutely brilliant.

The World Domination Episode: Genius!

Remember the episode where Nandor tries to take over the world? Hilarity ensues, obviously. His methods are... well, let's just say not very effective. It's pure Nandor chaos.

And Guillermo trying to rein him in? Comedy gold! The dynamic between them is always amazing, even in Season 3.

The whole sequence felt like a perfectly executed gag. I was laughing so hard I almost choked on my garlic bread. (Yes, I eat garlic bread. Don't judge.)

The Wellness Center? Surprisingly Hilarious

Then there's the vampire wellness center episode. Talk about a bizarre concept! Vampires trying to be healthy? It’s inherently funny.

The whole thing is dripping with awkwardness and absurdity. Especially when they start "expressing their emotions." I cringed and laughed simultaneously.

It's a perfect example of the show's ability to take a mundane idea and turn it into something utterly bonkers. It's why I watch this show!

Okay, Maybe It's Not Perfect

Look, I'm not saying Season 3 is flawless. No season is. Maybe the central plot wasn't as tight as previous seasons. I will concede that.

And maybe some of the new characters weren't as instantly iconic as, say, Colin Robinson. That’s fair.

But the individual episodes are still packed with great jokes. The core cast still shines. And the vampire absurdity is still dialed up to eleven.

The Unsung Hero: Laszlo's Evolution

I also feel like Laszlo's character really grew in Season 3. His weirdness took on a new dimension.

His dedication to science and his, uh, unique experiments were strangely endearing. Even if they were often completely inappropriate.

He became more than just a horny vampire. He became a slightly less horny, scientifically curious, vampire. Progression!

Let's Give Season 3 Some Credit

So, yeah, I might be in the minority here. But I think Watch What We Do In The Shadows Season 3 deserves more appreciation.

It's not the best season, perhaps. But it's still damn funny. And it's still full of the vampire shenanigans we all know and love.

Don't skip it on your next re-watch! You might be surprised at how much you enjoy it. Or maybe you’ll just reinforce that I have terrible taste. Either way, we had this chat!
